Clone 99 was a clone of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, created on the planet Kamino to be a soldier of the Grand Army of the Republic. However, 99 was physically disabled due to genetic errors during the cloning process. As a result, he aged faster than his fellow clones.
When Kamino was invaded by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, 99 helped out as best he could by delivering needed weaponry to the clone troopers. He also wanted to prove himself as a soldier like his brothers, seen when he risked his life to try and retrieve more grenades but was shot and killed instead.
At some point during the Clone Wars, Clone Force 99 performed an operation on Kuat, which Wrecker described as a "smash and grab". Around 19 BBY, Clone Force 99 was sent to Yalbec Prime in order to put down an insurrection.
Upon the activation of the retooled chip, the clones would be brainwashed into believing that Jedi were traitors to the Republic, forcing the clones to execute the Jedi. Tyranus, who posed as a Jedi, tricked the Kaminoans into believing Sifo Dyas' intention.
Some clones disobeyed the infamous order than decimated the Jedi order, and refused to execute it. SOME of these Clones include; Captain Rex: Captain Rex, as most know removed his chip that would later be the way that Palpatine would execute order 66. Wolffe: As with Captain Rex Wolffe removed his bio chip.

Even though he had his behavioral modification biochip removed, he remained loyal to the Empire. Crosshair also hoped that Clone Force 99 would band together again, albeit under the new Empire.

The two clones actually met their demise in the same arc. Hardcase and Waxer. In my opinion the saddest death was 99's death and every time I see it I can't help but tear up. The second saddest was 5's he died because everyone thought he was crazy about order 66 when really the Kaminoan drugged him.
They where owned by the republic so they didn't get paid, but they got looked after and they got treated well unlike the empire how they treat their stormtroopers.
Tech's death was the tragic culmination of The Bad Batch season 2, one that left fans across the world heartbroken after his heroic sacrifice. Since then, Star Wars' Project Necromancer has taken center stage in The Bad Batch season 3, moving the focus away from Tech and his absence in the show.

Crosshair has scars from his head injury in Season 1, but that's not the only time he's been injured in his life. Crosshair has been hit many times on his head and limbs as a soldier. A head injury might've left him with damage that's causing tremors in his hand.

Crosshair killed a governor standing up for his people in front of Cody, one of the few "regs" he respected. That mission pushed Cody to defect.
CT-9999/9999 nicknamed "Nines" was a clone trooper in the 37th Assault Legion. He served under commander CC-5629 nicknamed "Hunter" in the battle of Texx.

It's possible Cody had rationalized his actions during Order 66 by telling himself it had been necessary and would not happen again, but now he was brought face-to-face with the Empire's ongoing atrocities. Cody abandoned the Empire, apparently one of many clone troopers who deserted in the months that followed.
Order 66 and the Sith coup that overthrew the Republic was secretly the true purpose of the Clone Army. Clone Troopers of all ranks and specialties constantly proved that their genetic modifications and behavioral conditioning on Kamino weren't enough to suppress their free will.
