Clan Saxon Gar Saxon served as Governor of Mandalore until he was betrayed and killed by Ursa Wren of Clan Wren. Gar's brother, Tiber, inherited the governorship and ruled over Mandalore briefly during the chaos following Gar's death until Sabine Wren defeated him.
During the Siege of Mandalore, Bo-Katan was named Lady of House Kryze and Mandalore's Regent by the Jedi. Many saw her as the rightful ruler of Mandalore.
Before his death, Tarre Vizsla ruled all of Mandalore. After centuries of warfare and prolonged conflict, the once beautiful surface of Mandalore was reduced to an endless desert. This ecological devastation would cause many to turn their back on violence, giving rise to the New Mandalorians.
Clan Ordo was a famed clan of Mandalorians who presided over the planet Ordo in the Mandalore sector for their Lord Mandalore, the ultimate official over the Mandalorians. The most famed clan member was Canderous Ordo, who fought during the Great Sith War, Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War, and the Dark Wars.
Clan Mudhorn was a Mandalorian clan formed in the New Republic Era. It was composed of Din Grogu, a Force-sensitive Apprentice, and bounty hunter Din Djarin, who served as its leader. The Mandalorian clan's signet was the skull of a mudhorn, which was bestowed upon them by the Armorer of the Tribe.
There have been other Mandalorians who have become Jedi, though. The first was Tarre Vizsla, the Mandalorian Jedi who created the Darksaber. Huyang mentions in Ahsoka episode 3 that there have also been few other Mandalorians who have trained to be Jedi in addition to Tarre and Sabine.
Notably, the Dagoyan Masters of Bardotta regarded the Jedi as thieves and kidnappers because of that practice. Some Mandalorians, most notably members of Death Watch, held a grudge against the Jedi for their perceived crimes against Mandalore during the Mandalorian-Jedi War.
Late in the Clone Wars, Darth Maul took over Death Watch and led the conquest of Mandalore. He executed Satine and installed a puppet prime minister as the planet's new ruler, sparking a new chapter in Mandalore's violent history.
The leader of Mandalore during the Clone Wars, Duchess Satine of Kalevala was a controversial figure. She longed to move Mandalore beyond its violent past and instituted a government that valued pacifism.
During Mandalore's Civil War and his apprenticeship under Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan fell in love with the young Duchess Satine Kryze. The two lived on the run for over a year. Satine reciprocated his feelings as he saved her life from insurgents and bounty hunters.
It clearly showed Moff Gideon [the one who ordered the Purge] using his TIE bombers to saturation bomb Mandalore and then used his Security Droids to mop up any survivors of the bombardment! No nukes were used. In the Star Wars Universe use of nuclear weapons against civilians is a serious war crime.
Although he would retain his Mandalorian armor, Prime Minister Almec of the New Mandalorians disavowed any connection to Fett, claiming that he was simply a bounty hunter who had somehow stolen an artifact from Mandalore's troubled past.
Bo-Katan dismisses Boba as a pretender and a disgrace to his armor, refusing to acknowledge Jango Fett as the father of Boba and disparaging him for being a clone.
They also developed a new fighting style that would allow them to wield their arsenal with the expert skill they require. After Mandalorians started slaying Jedi Knights, their reputation grew. They became the most feared warriors in the galaxy all over again, but their battles continued to rage.
Despite the animosity between the Mandalorians and the Jedi, Tarre Vizsla became the first Mandalorian Jedi. As a Jedi, Vizsla built the Darksaber and used it to unite his people as their Mand'alor.
Darth Mandalore considered himself to be the greatest Mandalorian, the greatest Sith Lord, and the greatest assassin of his time. This made him appear arrogant and unpleasant to be with to those who surrounded him. He once ran into the real Mandalorians and killed twenty of them before flying off.
The war left Mandalore's surface scorched and desolate. The last great struggle between the Jedi and the Mandalorian warlords resulted in a large battle on Mandalore. This caused a cataclysm that scorched much of the planet's surface into lifeless white desert and ending the conflict, the Jedi emerging victorious.
Is Grogu Yoda? According to the events of "The Mandalorian" so far, Grogu and Yoda are not the same character. They are simply from the same species. The name of this species has never been revealed since "Star Wars" creator George Lucas wanted to give Yoda a sense of mystery.
He hailed from Aq Vetina and became orphaned during the end of the Galactic Republic, and was raised on Concordia as a foundling by the Children of the Watch, an orthodox religious sect that had broken off from mainstream Mandalorian society.
