Created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane, the character first appeared in Detective Comics #33 (November 1939). Batman: Three Jokers #1 (August 2020). In Batman's origin story, Joe Chill is the mugger who murders young Bruce Wayne's parents, Dr. Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne.
Later, Arthur goes to Arkham State Hospital and steals his mother's records, and finds out that he was in fact adopted, and that Thomas Wayne is not his father and that Penny is not his true mother.

Alfred Pennyworth, after a varied career, was employed as the Wayne family valet when Bruce Wayne's parents were killed. Alfred raised the young orphan and reluctantly aided him in his quest to become Batman.
Batman has consistently denied that he knows the Joker's true identity. However, in one story, Bruce Wayne reveals to his long-time butler and confidant, Alfred Pennyworth, that he does, in fact, know who the Joker is and has for a long time.

What is the Joker's real backstory?
The Joker has had various possible origin stories during his decades of appearances. The most common story involves his falling into a tank of chemical waste that bleaches his skin white and turns his hair green and lips bright red; the resulting disfigurement drives him insane.
In the process, he begins the training that shapes his destiny as a feared vigilante, known as Batman. In Pennyworth, Bruce is revealed to have had an older sister, Samantha, who disappeared long before he was born.
Desperate, Wayne turned to Falcone to have the latter intimidate the reporter, only for Falcone to kill him so he could have something on the Wayne family. Wayne, wracked with guilt, threatened to reveal everything to the police; he and his wife were murdered a week later.
However, when Alfred returned to the Florence Restaurant, he looked across to see Bruce dining with Selina Kyle, they exchanged smiles to one another, and nodded. At that point, Alfred left both happy and joyful that Bruce was alive, that he had finally found peace, and had started a family.
The psychopathology Arthur exhibits is unclear, preventing diagnosis of psychotic disorder or schizophrenia; the unusual combination of symptoms suggests a complex mix of features of certain personality traits, namely psychopathy and narcissism (he meets DSM-5 criteria for narcissistic personality disorder).
Thomas Wayne is one of the three overarching antagonists (alongside Hamilton Hill and Carmine Falcone) of Telltale Games' Batman series. He was a Gotham City-based billionaire and the father of Bruce Wayne. When he and his wife Martha were murdered by Joe Chill, it inspired their son to pursue a life of crime-fighting.
Penny Fleck marks the second time in Batman media where the Joker's mother has appeared, especially given that the Joker's origins are a mystery as well his name in the mainstream comic book continuity.
It comes as a big reveal at the start of the final act that Penny did in fact adopt Arthur. Then he was abused and mistreated. It ties off that Arthur has no relation to Thomas at all and is even painted that him thinking he does is another part of his mental health issues.
The Joker then used his power to repeatedly kill Batman in the most grotesque and violent ways imaginable, highligting the lengths of the madman's depravity. The crowning acheivement was having vultures devour the Caped Crusader. Unfortunately, Joker was eroding the fabric of space and time with his antics.
Batman sees Superman as nothing more than a potential alien threat to be eliminated. As set up by Batman v Superman, the showdown between the two heroes is symbolically positioned as Batman's last chance to regain the humanity slipping away from him.
As the treadmill vanishes from the scene into the timestream, Thomas cites a quote he had told Bruce after he first fell into the cave: "Waynes never stay down... they rise!" These, in fact, are Thomas' final words as he defiantly plunges himself into the anti-matter wave while the world turns white around him.
Among the big announcements from James Gunn about the future of the DCU was news of a new Batman in a film called The Brave and the Bold. This movie would have our first big-screen Robin in 25 years. But that Robin won't be Dick Grayson, but Damian Wayne, Bruce's biological son.
Damian Wayne is the son of Batman and Talia al Ghul. This makes him an heir to the world's greatest crime-fighter, and its greatest super-villain Ra's al Ghul.
In DC Comics, evil doppelgangers of various superheroes reside on Earth-Three, such as Superman and Batman's evil counterparts, Ultraman and Owlman, respectively.
DC Universe. Harleen Quinzel was a psychologist at Arkham Asylum, and after meeting the Joker, she became his frequent accomplice, took on the name Harley Quinn, and got into an abusive codependent relationship with him.
Finally, as far as television is concerned, in Season 5 of Gotham, Bane was introduced with the real name of Eduardo Dorrance, and with a background that combines his history in the comics with his role in The Dark Knight Rises.
