Annabelle Higgins is a character on Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation. She is portrayed by Tree O'Toole and Keira Daniels. She is the possessed adoptive-daughter of Pete and Sharon Higgins.
A young girl, aged around seven years old, was found dead there many years before. When the doll came into their apartment, Annabelle's spirit was still in the area in which she'd died, and because she was fond of the doll, her spirit became one with it. Annabelle became Annabelle the doll.
Two years later, Annabelle returned to her home town with her boyfriend and broke into her parents' house. She and her boyfriend proceeded to murder her parents.
Sometime later, Pete and Sharon Higgins (Brian Howe and Kerry O'Malley) arrive at an orphanage. They find Janice, who is now going as Annabelle. Pete and Sharon are taken by her and they adopt her.
The demon possesses Janice, kills the Mullins, and escapes before the police arrive at the scene. Possessed Janice ends up in Santa Monica, where she is adopted by the Higgins family and tells them her name is Annabelle.
