Brandon Teena (December 12, 1972 – December 31, 1993) was an American transgender man who was raped and later, along with Phillip DeVine and Lisa Lambert, murdered in Humboldt, Nebraska, by John Lotter and Tom Nissen. His life and death were the subject of the films The Brandon Teena Story and Boys Don't Cry.
While Candace is crying out to them to spare her baby, Tom shoots her in the head and kills her as Lana fights with them, begging them to stop. Tom stabs Brandon's lifeless body.
Tom & John are the main antagonists of the film Boys Don't Cry. They are portrayed by Peter Sarsgaard & Brendan Sexton respectively and based on real life convicts of the same names.

In exchange for a reduced sentence, Nissen admitted to being an accessory to the rape and murder. Nissen testified against Lotter and was sentenced to life in prison. Lotter denied the veracity of Nissen's testimony, and his testimony was discredited. The jury found Lotter guilty of murder and sentenced him to death.
The night before the murder, Lawrence Yunkin drove Lisa to Kmart where Lisa went into store and purchased rope, hats and gloves which were taken to the crime scene with them the following morning. On December 20, 1991, Laurie Show was discovered, fatally wounded, in her home by her mother.

Brandon and Candace are fatally shot, while Lana is screaming desperately. Lana falls asleep and is woken up the next morning by her mother. The film ends with Lana leaving Falls City as a letter of Brandon's (sent to Lana before he died) is read in a voice-over.

If your particularly interested in this film then yes, I'd say its worth a watch, though its not really a film which is greatly memorable or impactful in a sort of long term basis I reckon but for what it is, its certainly not bad.
Tabitha Buck: Buck was a 17-year-old senior at Penn Manor High School and a friend of Lambert's at the time of the murder. At her trial, Lambert's defense claimed it was Buck and Yunkin who actually committed the murder, while she was merely an observer.
Lambert, who was 18 at the time, was arrested, along with 20-year-old Lawrence Yunkin and 17-year-old Tabitha Buck. Police said Lambert and Buck killed Show as part of a feud over Yunkin, who was Lambert's boyfriend and had previously dated Show. Lambert was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
