Brainiac appears to have the advantage in physical combat yet again, but Superman knocks Brainiac out of his ship and into a swamp, where Brainiac is overwhelmed by the microscopic organisms covering his body. Superman uses this distraction to defeat Brainiac.
Brainiac then attempts to drain all the knowledge from the earth into itself and then destroy the earth, ultimately Clark and the legion of superhereo's from the future are able to defeat Brainiac and remove him from Chloe once again. What is Brainiac's weakness?
Weaknesses. Sensory Overload: Brainiac has been defeated in the past by Superman forcing him into Earth's environment where he was overwhelmed by the sights and sounds of human society that his abilities enabled him to experience and the germs and microbes that he is not used to and was repulsed by.
Thanos is powerful but Brainiac has all of the advantages. Brainiac would make Thanos come to him, forcing the Mad Titan to fight through his powerful drones, each one powerful enough to phase even Superman.
