Though he's been a member of Eagle Fang Karate since season 3, his inclusion is noteworthy to say the least, considering that Mitch openly betrayed the dojo in the season 5 finale. Tired of being mocked and treated poorly, Mitch tipped off Kyler and the other Cobra Kai students of the plan to sneak inside the dojo.
While Cobra Kai confronts them, it's later revealed by Kenny and Kyler that Mitch has been undercover for his former dojo. Mitch reveals his betrayal by siding with Cobra Kai.
He was every bit a victim of John Kreese, the main antagonist, and Cobra Kai as Daniel was. The real instigator of the original movie, Kreese continues to lurk behind the scenes in “Cobra Kai,” using his masterful manipulation tactics to make children beat up other children once more.

Why did Hawk change sides?
When they try to hurt Demetri, Hawk instantly switches sides to protect his friend instead of causing him even more harm. At the beginning of Season 4, we see Hawk joining the good side by returning to Sensei Lawrence's (William Zabka) supervision, as well as teaming up with Miyagi-Do.
Hawk started out as an unpopular boy, viciously bullied for his cleft lip scar. Joining Cobra Kai helps him fend off his bullies, but also fosters his anger, insecurity, and desire to be popular, resulting in him becoming a bully.
He eventually fully gets his legs moving and convinces Johnny to open up a new karate dojo called Eagle Fang. He gets back together with Samantha LaRusso and meets her father, Daniel.
While they initially break up after Robbie fails to convince Tori that Cobra Kai is bad, they ultimately overcome this issue, with Tory leaving Cobra Kai and getting back together with Robby.
In the All-Valley Tournament, it was Daniel LaRusso who famously won by beating Johnny Lawrence. However, that wasn't the only competition that Daniel won. In The Karate Kid III, he went up against Mike Barnes in the All-Valley Tournament and took first place trophy home once more.
Johnny is portrayed as a flawed hero in the film, with Daniel instigating conflicts that escalate the rivalry. Cobra Kai aims to show that both Daniel and Johnny have evolved from their original roles and can be considered heroes.
John Kreese is the main antagonist of The Karate Kid franchise. He is a traumatized Vietnam War veteran and the founder of Cobra Kai, who teaches a philosophy of "no mercy", inadvertently encouraging generations of bullies.
In Cobra Kai season 2, Johnny took a road trip to reunite with his Cobra Kai high school buddies. In the aftermath, Miguel and Sam, as well as Robby and Tory, rekindle their respective relationships. In jail, however, Kreese fakes his death and escapes.
After spending the rest of the season growing as individuals, not only do Sam and Miguel decide to get back together, but they also end Season 5 by saying “I love you” to one another, a game-changing sentiment their character arcs earn.
Seeing Miguel and Sam together was the final nail in the coffin for their relationship because it led to Robby believing that this would happen and that they "deserve each other." The biggest issue is that there wasn't enough focus on them in season 5 as a whole, and they didn't get to officially make amends onscreen.
Carmen Diaz is one of the main characters in the Netflix series Cobra Kai. She is portrayed by Vanessa Rubio. She is the mother of Miguel Diaz and current love interest of Johnny Lawrence.
