Roger pushes on a lever stuck under a boulder, and he sends a huge rock down on Piggy. It hit him, knocking him off the ledge and into the ocean, and it crushed the conch. Jack shows no remorse, and he throws his spear at Ralph, who turned and ran away.
Up on Castle Rock, Roger leans on a lever and sends a giant boulder crashing down the hill. The rock struck Piggy a glancing blow from chin to knee; the conch exploded into a thousand white fragments and ceased to exist.
Roger, the character least able to understand the civilizing impulse, crushes the conch shell as he looses the boulder and kills Piggy, the character least able to understand the savage impulse.
Instead, Ralph is angry that Jack and his hunters let the fire die. Ralph yells at Jack, and Piggy joins in, resulting in Jack slapping Piggy in the face and breaking his glasses.

What happens to Piggy's body?
While Piggy admonishes the boys for becoming savages, Roger releases a huge boulder in Piggy's direction, knocking him off the cliff to his death on the rocks below. A large wave quickly carries off his body. Jack screams in victory at Ralph and then throws his spear at him.
A member in Jack's tribe named Roger is pressured by the savage-like ways around him to push a rock over a hill so that it would fall on another boy named Piggy. This kills Piggy as the rock knocks him over a cliff to his death.
Why does Jack hate Ralph? From the beginning, Jack, who is the head choir boy back home, thinks he should be the chief, but the other boys choose Ralph. The tension between Ralph and Jack grows because Jack has different priorities—to hunt and have fun—than Ralph, who wants to hold onto civilization and get rescued.
At the end of Lord of the Flies, most of the boys survive. A littlun goes missing after the group builds a fire that gets out of control, and can be assumed to be dead. Simon gets killed by the group after they mistake him for the beast. Finally, Piggy dies when one of the boys in Jack's tribe throws a boulder on him.
Piggy's real name is never revealed. Instead he is treated as though he is one of the pigs on the island - also like one of them, he is brutally killed. Piggy remains an outsider and a victim throughout the novel, though Ralph does come to respect him.
Devil is a skin in Piggy. They were added into the game during the Traitor gamemode update along with Giraffy as a celebration for the game reaching one billion visits.
'" Piggy is concerned about the nightmares the younger boys are having because of the talk of ghosts and a beast on the island. Piggy identifies the real threat on the island because he already senses that the thing to be feared is the boys themselves.
He is also physically different from them as he is fat, has asthma and wears glasses. All these things go towards making him an outsider to the rest of the group. Piggy's real name is never revealed.
Roger sends a rock topping over the cliffs and onto Piggy, which kills Piggy and destroys the conch. Jack is not remorseful. Instead, he is further excited, and he says that he "meant that," and he tells Ralph that he no longer has a tribe.
The book ends with the officer turning away, allowing the children to pull themselves together. In this moment, as they all weep together for all they have endured, Ralph symbolically regains leadership of the group as they prepare to reenter society.
At one point, Ralph calls on the knowledge passed on to him by Piggy and challenges Jack directly by asking him, "Why do you hate me?" Who is a better leader in Lord of the Flies? Ralph is a better leader as he works to make sure the boys get rescued. Jack is a more effective leader because he gathers support for himself quickly, but he is a poor leader because he is unconcerned with being rescued.
Later, Jack punches Piggy which cause the glasses to fall, smashing one side. Piggy is now half-blind, a foreshadowing of later events in the book when Jack's tribe steal the spectacles, leaving Piggy completely blind and vulnerable.
Ralph and Piggy confront Jack's group about letting the fire die out because they went hunting instead. With provocation, Jack reacts violently by punching Piggy and shattering his glasses- the first physical altercation in the novel so far.
Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness of man's heart, and the fall through the air of a true, wise friend called Piggy. These lines from the end of Chapter 12 occur near the close of the novel, after the boys encounter the naval officer, who appears as if out of nowhere to save them.
The characters in Lord of the Flies can be interpreted as prototypes of human behaviour, where Ralph represents civilization and leadership, and Jack represents the savagery within the human soul. In a broader sense, we may consider Ralph as representing "good" and Jack as representing "evil".
From his point of view on top of Castle Rock, "Ralph was a shock of hair and Piggy a bag of fat" — not other human beings. Mentally dehumanizing those not in his group frees Roger from the restraints of decency, an effect he feels as "a sense of delirious abandonment" when he releases the rock to kill Piggy.
After one of the boys suggests the beast is a ghost, and most of the others say they do believe in ghosts, Piggy asks if the boys are humans, animals or savages. Jack tells Piggy to shut up. Jack and Piggy fight over the conch.
