Los Angeles: Lisa Bonet has filed for divorce from Hollywood star Jason Momoa, two years after they parted ways. Bonet, whose legal name is Lilakoi Moon, filed a petition to end her marriage to the 'Aquaman' star on Monday.
Mera's character is largely unchanged following the DC Rebirth reboot. However, her personal history is altered. Rather than being Aquaman's wife, she is now his fiancé but is still Atlantis' ambassador to the surface.
The Aquaman star and Eiza González have been "dating casually for a couple of months," a source close to the actress exclusively tells E! News. Momoa attended the Los Angeles premiere of Eiza's action film Ambulance in April, though the two did not pose together for photos on the red carpet.
She abandoned her husband Aquaman, blaming his "weak genes" for Arthur, Jr.'s death. It was her belief that had her son been born of a man from her dimension, then he would have been strong enough to survive Black Manta's attack. Their marriage dissolved, Aquaman left Atlantis, but Mera stayed behind.

The two married in 2017 and announced their breakup in 2022. Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa are officially ending their marriage. The Ray Donovan actress has filed for a dissolution of her marriage to the Aquaman star, citing irreconcilable differences, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
The Aquaman star “was moving in a different direction and it did not fit together with her lifestyle,” the source added. “They drifted apart and wanted different things.” In a separate report from People, a source said they still care “deeply about each other”.

Arthur and Mera are one of the first DC couples to have married in comics, going back to 1964. In 2014 with the New 52 relaunch her status from being married, was changed to be the fiancée of Aquaman. However at the end of Rebirth, Arthur and Mera marry again, the couple also has a daughter, Andy.
