At some point before 16 BBY, Boba met Sintas Vel, a Kiffar bounty hunter. In an attempt at a normal life, he married her. The two later conceived a child, Ailyn Vel, who was born in 15 BBY.
But another famed bounty hunter, Boba Fett, rescued Shand. And after her damage was mended, Fennec helped Fett reclaim his Firespray gunship from Jabba the Hutt's former palace and agreed to be his partner.
