His constant losses have given him a legendary hatred for Batman's sidekick. But readers would be surprised to learn that there's one Robin he does respect. In Teen Titans Annual #2, Deathstroke reveals that his favorite Robin is none other than Damian Wayne.
Slade considered Robin his rival as the leader of the Teen Titans. Slade was impressed by Robin's abilities, powers, and personality, and wanted him to be his apprentice. Slade admits that he tried to get Robin's attention by leaving clues and messages for him to investigate.
Damian Wayne is one of the most combat-proficient Robins due to his training from the League of Assassins. Unlike his father, Batman, Damian Wayne is prepared to be lethal. Whenever Damian faces Deathstroke head-to-head, he typically comes out on top.
It was thought that the first time Slade encountered Robin was alongside the Teen Titans and that the basis for animosity towards the crime fighter came from that team. Originally, Slade's son, Grant Wilson, took a contract on the Titans but died before he could fulfill it.

Did Slade traumatize Robin?
Robin ends up fighting him throughout the episode and getting physically abused in the process. He's so obsessed with it that the other Titans strap him down to keep him from seeking Slade out again. Robin's mental torment exhibits signs of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Deathstroke actually has more reason to hate Damian than most other Robins. Throughout his time as leader of the Teen Titans, Damian has been attempting to solve the problem of supervillains never learning their lesson. To solve this Damian created a prison under the Titan's HQ, Mercy Hall.
Dick Grayson remains the strongest and most skilled Robin (proven in Battle for the Cowl), but he has grown so much as a character. He has become his own man, taking up the mantle of Nightwing to distance himself from Batman.
In addition to his great strength, Slade is a nimble fighter, demonstrating his superior agility in combat on numerous occasions and has been shown to be able to move faster than even Robin during their brief scuffle in Apprentice Part II.

Terra was sixteen years old at the time of the storyline while Deathstroke was middle-aged, making him far more insidious than he would later be portrayed.
As the first Robin, Dick Grayson is definitely the most well-known of the many characters who have used the name, his second successor, Tim Drake, is regarded in some circles as being the best carrier of the title.
Jarro grew attached to Batman and even often calls him “father”. He wanted to prove to Batman that he can be the best Robin and even convinced Batman to give him a chance. Jarro became the new Robin and was even said to be Batman's favorite Robin, admitted by Batman himself.
What Tim has in his favor is his incredible intelligence. Not only has he trained harder than any other Robin, but he's a natural detective. Tim even figures out Bruce and Dick's heroic identities with only his wits. As Red Robin, Tim Drake went toe to toe with the League of Assassins and won.
Even aside from his abilities, Black Panther has access to some of the most advanced technology in the entire Marvel universe. With this in mind, it only makes sense that he would be able to take down someone like Deathstroke.
As good as Nightwing is, he's never been able to beat Deathstroke. While he's beaten Deathstroke with the help of the Teen Titans, in one on one rights Nightwing has never been able to defeat Deathstroke.
Tim Drake excels as an investigator, evident from even his first appearance. Unlike most Robins, Tim sought Batman out. Using nothing but his wits and intellect, Tim deduced Batman's identity, a feat few in the DC Universe have been able to accomplish.
Although Damian is the more skillful fighter, he does not possess the same level of experience as Jason. And trust me when I say in a real fight Jason Todd will capitalize on that experience Gap. Jason is a true strategist capable of turning his opponent's mistakes to his advantage.
Tim Drake may be the youngest of the Batman Family but he's also the smartest and a master of deductive reasoning. Tim is a true believer in Batman's mission and is motivated by the conviction that Gotham City needs a hero rather than by personal loss.
So, Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke was trained by: The U.S. Army as a typical soldier to the point he was a decorated war hero and a major. The U.S. Army as a new type of superior soldier at Camp Washington. And Captain Adeline Kane who would later become his wife and helped him stand out among the “superior” soldiers.
Slade took a unique interest in Raven, since he found out from Raven's father, Trigon, that she was the portal for the demon's arrival on Earth. In the episode "Birthmark", Slade took pleasure in trying to tell Raven about her destiny, despite knowing how much she wanted to run away from it due to her fears.
