Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) Jake and Neytiri arrive and free most of them, but Spider is taken by Quaritch, who recognizes him as his son, Miles Quaritch Socorro, who was born on Pandora and was unable to be transported to Earth due to his young age.
Miles "Spider" Socorro is a sixteen-year-old boy who was born in Hell's Gate as the son of Colonel Miles Quaritch and Paz Socorro. After the death of his parents, Miles remained on Pandora and was adopted by Nash McCosker and Mary after the Pandoran War.
Early on in the Way of Water, it's revealed that Spider is actually named Miles Socorro, and that his biological father was Colonel Quaritch, Stephen Lang's baddie from 2009's Avatar.
Spider Is Quaritch's Son - But He Wasn't In Avatar
Since the comic takes place 14 years after the first film, Spider's origins are told through flashbacks. In the Avatar comics, it's revealed that Spider was born to Quaritch and an RDA pilot named Paz Sorroco while living on an RDA base.
Paz Socorro is Spider's mom after a romantic relationship with Quaritch led to her getting pregnant. She gave birth to Spider, whose birth name is Miles (just like his father), in 2154. However, Paz Socorro died shortly after that in combat during Avatar's finale.
Augustine's colleague Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) was the father and Grace conceived Kiri before the end of Avatar before somehow giving birth in her Avatar body. However, the more interesting theory is that Kiri is literally the child of Eywa due to some sort of immaculate conception.
Unless that theory is true, Grace was impregnated by someone. Kiri's brothers joke that the scientist Norm could be her father. The movie does not reveal much information about the birth of Kiri. It is unclear whether Kiri was conceived before Grace died and her avatar carried her to term.
Kiri is the inquisitive and intelligent adopted daughter of Jake Sully and Neytiri. Not long after Grace Augustine's death, her dormant avatar was discovered to be pregnant, and Jake and Neytiri adopted the child when she was born.
At one point, Quaritch had sexual intercourse with Paz Socorro, one of his Scorpion pilots, around a year before the banishment of the RDA from Pandora. This resulted in the birth of a son named Miles Socorro, which Paz apparently named after the boy's father.
Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, or Neteyam, is a major character in the Avatar franchise, serving as one of the main characters in Avatar: The Way of Water. He is the 15-year-old eldest son of Jake Sully and Neytiri, who is also the older brother of Lo'ak, Tuktirey, and Kiri.
Since he was already born when humans were driven out of Pandora, and The Way of Water takes place after a fifteen-year time jump, we can safely assume Spider is fifteen years old. Neteyam is the eldest child of Jake and Sully, and grew up with Spider.
It turns out that Spider's mother was Paz Socorro, a helicopter pilot who died in the final battle in the last movie, where she was tragically (?) impaled by one of the Na'vi's arrows.
While Dr. Grace Augustine died in the first movie, Kiri ended up miraculously being born of Grace's inert avatar. This means that, while Kiri was raised by Jake and Neytiri, her real mother was Grace, and Weaver returned to the franchise to voice the teenage girl.
Indeed, Kiri's father in Avatar may not exist at all. Considering what Avatar and Avatar 2 has revealed - and withheld - regarding Kiri's true nature, the most likely explanation for this mystery is that Kiri was created by Eywa through the Tree of Souls. Kiri may even be a direct reincarnation of Grace.
So essentially yes, Kiri was born from Eywa just like Anakin Skywalker was allegedly conceived by the Force itself and its midichlorians. This is really the only explanation that makes sense.
In an interview with Collider's Perri Nemiroff, Weaver answered whether she knows the truth about Kiri's conception, to which she simply replied, “no.” In Avatar: The Way of Water, we learn that Kiri was born from Dr. Grace Augustine's Avatar, which somehow gives birth despite the apparent death of the doctor.
Grace was fascinated with how the Na'vi were connected to each other, Pandora, and Eywa. Now, Kiri, who is intrinsically connected to Grace, has a much deeper connection to the Na'vi deity than anyone else. Kiri can hear Eywa in a way no other Na'vi has been able to, not even the spiritual leaders.
The Soul Tree is the heart of Eywa, the goddess that guides all of Pandora. Avatar: The Way of Water illustrates that Kiri has a special connection to Eywa, which means she can wield powers and feel her more deeply than other Na'vi.
Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan was Jake Sully and Neytiri's eldest son at 15-years-old. He is the eldest brother of Lo'ak, Tuktirey and Kiri. As the eldest brother, Neteyam was expected to watch out for his younger siblings and their antics.
