Nocturne is from an alternative reality outside the main Marvel Universe (Earth-616). She is the daughter of that reality's Nightcrawler and the Scarlet Witch. She is based on Jim Calafiore's "Professor W's X-Men" entry of the X-Men Millennial Visions 2000 one-shot.
Talia Wagner has heightened agility, reflexes, night vision, and suction, but those are the more basic abilities when compared to her other powers. Nocturne has the added powers of telepathy, psychic shields, and even the power to possess people for up to twelve hours.
Daughter of Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch, Nocturne inherited her father's blue fur, three-toed hands and feet, a tail, yellow eyes and pointed ears. As a third-generation mutant, however, Nocturne also developed her own abilities.
It is also revealed that in a parallel universe, an alternate Nightcrawler fathered a daughter with an alternate Scarlet Witch; this girl, named Nocturne, is a dimensionally-stranded mutant bearing traits similar to Nightcrawler himself. Nocturne has since referred to Nightcrawler as her father.
That changed when Destiny decided she wanted “a child conceived in love” with Mystique. To that end, Mystique changed her genetics for a night, so she could impregnate the woman she loved. Biologically, Destiny was Nightcrawler's mother, and Mystique was his father.

When Kurt was an infant, Margali Szardos took him in and raised him alongside her daughter, Jimaine. After becoming a skilled sorceress like her mother, Jimaine followed Nightcrawler to the United States and began dating him while posing as a flight attendant named Amanda Sefton.

After Chris Claremont left the X-Men world in 1991Opens in a new tab, writer Scott Lobdell took over. In 1994's X-Men Unlimited #4, by Scott Lobdell and Richard Bennett, Marvel finally had Mystique explain to Kurt that she was his mother.
Nightcrawler's Birth Story Is Filled With Joy And Tragedy
Above all else, the most important thing that X-Men Blue: Origins retcons is that Mystique and Destiny are Kurt's true biological parents, fulfilling a plan for the hero that the legendary Chris Claremont set in motion decades ago.
As she is now, Mystique is implied to be capable of self-sexual reproduction/spontaneous generation, an act already associated with divinity. Her genetic mastery also implies immortality, being able to reset the age of her cells.
Mystique is a recurring antagonist in X-Men: The Animated Series. She is the mother of Graydon Creed and Nightcrawler, both of whom she abandoned. She is also Rogue's foster mother, having taken her in as a teenager when she was disowned by her father for her mutant abilities.
