Upon being resurrected, Snow White immediately walks to William and takes his hand, with the two sharing a brief but profound moment. At her coronation, Snow White and William exchange smiles. It is later revealed that Snow White married William, implying he was always her true love.
After saying good-bye to the dwarfs, Snow White and the Prince leave together where they arrive at the Prince's castle and later get married, living happily together.

REAL LIFE? In a 1994 book, German scholar Echard Sander argued that the Snow White tale is based on a real person, Countess Margarete von Waldeck of Bavaria. The countess was raised in an area where children working in copper mines were so stunted that they were called dwarfs.

In the original story, Snow White sleeps in the glass coffin for many years, growing up into a young woman that whole time. In the film, she does so for about one year. In the original fairy tale, Snow White actually wasn't awakened by "love's first kiss".
The Poisoned Apple is a magic blood-red apple which will send its victim into the Sleeping Death when bitten. The victim of it can only be revived by love's first kiss. It is used by the Evil Queen in an attempt to do away with her stepdaughter, Snow White in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
