After his blundered performance at the end of the Scare Games (which presumably got him kicked out of the RORs), Randall gained an enmity towards Sulley, vowing it would be the last time he ever lost to him. In Monsters, Inc., Randall is greedy, ruthless, sneaky, short-tempered, competitive, and overall evil in nature.
Though Mr. Waternoose genuinely liked Sulley and Mike because of their successful teamwork, he was only driven to villainy out of desperation to keep Monsters, Inc. afloat in the midst of the energy crisis, as well as due to stressful financial problems and his responsibilities as CEO.
Henry J. Waternoose III (voiced by James Coburn) is a spider-like monster with five eyes, seven claws on each hand, six crab-like legs, who wears a business suit. He is the former company president and the CEO of Monsters, Inc.
Waternoose turns out to be behind Randall's plot to use the scream extractor on kidnapped children, believing that it would be the only way to save the company and end the energy crisis. When Sulley and Mike disguise Boo in a monster costume, they make up a lie to Mr.
Waternoose chased Sulley and inside a room stopped and revealed his true nature. He told Sulley that he and Boo have seen too much of his plot, and he admitted that his plans are to kidnapp and kill 1,000 children and murder who ever stands in his way.
Monsters, Inc. The ending is of course executed flawlessly and the only way they could have ended it - a quiet, sweet scene that fades on a single word and a single facial expression.
Near the end of the film, it turns out that Roz is Agent #001 of the CDA. She reveals that she was working undercover for two and a half years at Monsters Inc. and that Mike and Sulley nearly blew it all when Boo came into their care.
a surprise, which turns out to be Boo's door reassembled. The door becomes functional when Sulley places the piece he has kept, and he opens it to see Boo, who (although off-screen) recognizes him by saying, "Kitty!" This gives Sulley a surprised grin on his face as the film closes.
During the last part of the scare Olympics, Sulley roared so loudly that Randall was knocked to the ground, causing him to botch his routine. As a result, Randall was expelled from Roar Omega Roar and developed a hatred for Sulley, noting that it would be the last time he lost to him.
Shane sneaks into the barn, and takes Randall at gunpoint out into the woods, supposedly looking to join Randall's group. There, he breaks Randall's neck, killing him, and then smashes his own face against a tree and hides his gun. Shane returns just as Randall's absence is discovered.

Mr. Waternoose is completely bald and has green eyes. He has 5 eyes, 7 fingers, and 6 crab-like legs and has the ability to crawl on walls like a spider and make himself taller.
Waternoose reveals his plot to kidnap children as he watches in shock and bewilderment. With this incriminating evidence, the CDA turns on Waternoose and arrests him for his crimes.
Returning Boo home. Attempting to return Boo home becomes increasingly difficult for Sully and Mike due to their shift, not to mention that Randall is aware she is with Mike. After learning that Mike made a deal with Randall to return Boo home, she is unwilling to go back to her room, as she is scared of Randall.
What happened to the guy who had a sock on his back in Monsters, Inc?
George, unfortunately for himself, actually gets denuded over the course of the series: he wears a jacket in Monsters University, goes au naturel in the original film, and ends up de-furred by the CDA after being "contaminated" with a sock.
When Mike and Sulley get stuck with a wandering child who sneaks into Monsters, Inc., they start calling her Boo. But when she's drawing in Sulley's bed, she shuffles through pictures that she's signed Mary, which seems to be her real name. This also coincides with the name of the actress who voiced Boo, Mary Gibbs.
Monsters, Inc 2 never got made. Instead, Pixar made a prequel in Monsters University. Though the movie didn't revisit Boo, it did give fans insight into how Mike and Sully met and became friends and teammates.
