Status. Ulla is a noncanonical character from Varian and The 7 Kingdoms, though she is based on a canonical picture of Varian's absent mother in Tangled The Series. She is Varian's mother and Quirin's wife.
Although Flynn Rider never mentions how old he is on-screen, the animators behind Tangled have confirmed (via Showbiz Cheat Sheet) that Flynn is 26 years old in the movie. When he meets the likable Disney princess Rapunzel in her tower, she's 17 years old with her 18th birthday right around the corner.

At first, they started off as good friends, with Varian developing a crush on Cassandra very quickly after meeting her, despite Cass being much older. For her part, Cass considers Varian a good friend and admires his talents. The episode "Great Expotations" expands on their relationship.
