Benjamin "Ben" Hildebrand was the late boyfriend of Amanda Kirby following her divorcement with Paul Kirby, and served as a father figure of sorts to her son Eric Kirby.

Though the dialogue suggests that Kelly considers Ian her actual father, so it's possible that Kelly is his biological daughter, but shares the physical traits of her mother.
