Having given Shuri enough space, T'Challa's former girlfriend Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) steps out onto the beach with a little boy (Divine Love Konadu-Sun). She introduces him as Toussaint, the son she secretly had with T'Challa.
The boy reveals that Toussaint is his Haitian name and his Wakandan name is T'Challa, son of T'Challa. The scene works as both a tribute to Chadwick Boseman and a means to allow for a T'Challa to continue to exist in the MCU. It also hits on the core importance of Boseman's character beyond the mantle of Black Panther.
That final reveal in the film's mid-credits sequence – that the legendary, late Black Panther had secretly fathered a son with Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia, and that the young boy had inherited his dad's name – was the perfect denouement to a movie that honoured Chadwick Boseman many times over, even as it endeavoured to ...

She's greeted by Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) and a child we haven't met before: Nakia's son, Toussaint, played by Divine Love Konadu-Sun. As it turns out, Toussaint's father is none other than the late T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman).
At the end of the film fans are introduced to T'Challa's son Toussaint, also known as Prince T'Challa (Divine Love Konadu-Sun), who is being raised by his mother Nakia in Haiti, away from the pressures of the throne.

When did Nakia get pregnant?
In 2018, Nakia, pregnant with her son, was kept away when the battle with aliens occurred. She and her son then survived the Snap. After learning that T'Challa and Shuri had disappeared, she and her son, without telling anyone, moved to Haiti. Making the move and grieving the losses wasn't an easy feat for her.
Nakia appears in films set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), portrayed by Lupita Nyong'o. This version hails from Wakanda's River Tribe, is a former Dora Milaje who became a War Dog, an international spy for Wakanda, and was previously in a relationship with T'Challa. She first appears in Black Panther (2018).
But, it's revealed in the mid-credits scene that T'Challa had sent Nakia away as she was pregnant with their child, and he wanted his heir to be raised away from Wakanda.
Azari is the son of Black Panther and Storm. He was taken to safety by Iron Man alongside with James Rogers, Torunn and Henry Pym Jr. to keep them all safe from Ultron. Azari along with his other siblings only knew of the Avengers through Tony's tales of their former glory days.
Here, Boseman married before his death and had no children. His wife is the sole distributee and will inherit all of the assets he owned in his own name. But what if there were assets, such as joint accounts, that were not owned solely by Boseman?
The movie reveals early on that Nakia spent the last six years away from Wakanda primarily working at a Wakandan outreach center in Haiti. Black Panther 2's post-credits scene explained the real reason why this move was made, as she left Wakanda to raise her T'Challa's son, Prince Toussaint.
The events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as well as general MCU trends, make Black Panther 3 likely to happen eventually, though it may be some way off.

Namor utters his catchphrase from the comic books, "imperius rex," but Shuri counters with a triumphant "Wakanda Forever!" and blows them both up. Namor, the child without love. With Namor apparently defeated as she holds a spear to his throat, Shuri finds herself thinking back over the events of the film.
Newcomer Divine Love Konadu-Sun plays Toussaint in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, incredibly as his first acting credit. The young actor plays T'Challa's son at around age 7.
During the mid-credits scene, the audience returns to that very moment. Shuri sits before a beach fire, where she is joined by Nakia and a six-year old boy named Toussaint (Divine Love Konadu-Sun). Nakia introduces the boy as her son, explaining that he is also Shuri's nephew and T'Challa's son.
Nakia revealed that sometime after the events of Black Panther and before Avengers: Infinity War, she and T'Challa had a son. They may even have been secretly married. As it stands, this doesn't make much narrative sense since T'Challa was openly asking Nakia to be his queen in the first film.
Having married childhood sweetheart and fellow superhero Black Panther, the ruler of the fictional African nation of Wakanda, Munroe was made queen consort through marriage. The title was lost, however, when the two later divorced.
In this universe, T'Challa is both the Black Panther and an Avenger. He and Storm's son is T'Chaka. When the superhero Vibraxus gets kidnapped, T'Chaka reveals that he can transform into the human/cat hybrid "Coal Tiger" to help the Avengers bring the Wakandan hero home.
Kymera is the daughter of Storm and Black Panther ( though it has yet to be confirmed by Marvel ) and a member of the Future X-Men (second team) who is going to deal with the other X-Men team of the Future.
Young Toussaint was kept hidden in Haiti to protect him from the pressures of the Wakandan throne -- explaining why Nakia didn't attend T'Challa's funeral -- but mentions Queen Ramonda got to meet him before she died.
She couldn't accept that her role was merely ceremonial and that T'Challa had no romantic intentions toward her. Nakia's jealousy changed her, leading to her attempting to kill the King's former lover, a deceptive betrayal that caused T'Challa to banish Nakia back to her home village in disgrace.
Prince T'Challa's debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's post-credits scene came as a huge shock to audiences, as it was revealed that T'Challa and Nakia had a son before Thanos' attack on Earth in Avengers: Infinity War, choosing to raise him in Haiti away from the pressures of the Wakandan throne.
