The truth, he explains, is that Miles had been responsible for both Andi's murder and Duke's. He killed the former when the napkin's existence was made clear to him by Lionel and then spiked Duke's drink with pineapple juice – to which he is allergic – after the latter had begun to cotton on.
The Disruptors are the main antagonists of the 2022 murder mystery film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. They are a group of influencers and friends of Miles Bron, who all, in attempts to keep their rich life up, stays with Miles corruption, even at the detriment to their former friend Cassandra Brand.
So, who killed Andi? In a twist, none of Helen's original four suspects killed Andi. Instead, the culprit was none other than Miles, who learned of Andi's e-mail via a fax from Lionel.
Miles does, though, so did he clue into who his surprise guest really was at any point? Rian Johnson says the answer is no. After all, "Glass Onion" makes Klear that Miles Bron is an idiot. Supporting this, Johnson notes that Miles is just as shocked as the other characters when they realize "Andi" is really Helen.
Did Andy really have a twin sister in Glass Onion?
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery was released on Netflix last month, earning strong reviews from critics and audiences alike for its clever writing, which includes the reveal that Monáe's character, Andi, is actually Andi's twin sister, Helen.
Why The Glass Breaking Scene Was Important In Glass Onion. With Andi long dead and the killer standing just feet from her, getting away with yet another crime, Helen felt like she had no other option but to exact retribution of any kind.
As Glass Onion later reveals, Miles murdered Andi at her home, then concealed evidence about stealing her tech empire so no one would trace it back to him. He then invited their peers to party, sending puzzle boxes to help build an alibi, as the news would frame it as a suicide.
While there, Whiskey sneaks away with Miles seemingly having an affair with him. Duke sees. It's later revealed that Duke had Whiskey seduce Miles to let Duke join Alpha News.
Of course, that story only grows more complicated when Helen is shot and the film doubles back on itself. But this fugue flashback serves a double purpose: We also learn at its conclusion that Helen survived the gunshot wound, thanks to her sister's conveniently placed journal.
I assumed he sent her the box because he always did even though she had previously declined and it would've been suspicious if he hadn't this time. So in order to keep up the ruse of not knowing she was/would be murdered he sent her one. It's a cover.
The film then jumps back to when Blanc received the invitation. He was visited by Helen, Andi's twin sister, who brought him the smashed-up puzzle box. Helen tells Blanc that Andi is said to have committed suicide days earlier, but she believes that Andi was murdered.
At that point, Duke knew that Miles was guilty, and in an attempt to blackmail him, he showed him on his phone, trying to get Miles to boost his YouTube channel.
Miles Bron is the main antagonist of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Bron is a rich Tech giant who owns a private estate in Greece. He is portrayed by Edward Norton.
Blanc fakes her death with some of Jeremy Renner's patented hot sauce and hauls the rest of the gang into the Glass Onion to run down the whys and wherefores of Helen-as-Andi's apparent death. We know by now that Andi apparently killed herself by overdose at her home.
The big twist halfway through the film is that the standoffish Andi is actually her sister, Helen, and only Benoit Blanc knew this from the beginning. The problem is that Andi was supposed to be close with the other Disrupters, so it's nonsensical that none of them would recognize her.
The film makes it clear that Andi sent Miles the email warning him of her finding the napkin needed to regain control of Alpha, after which he decided to murder her to keep her quiet.
The napkin, originally drawn in Andi's hand on a 'Glass Onion' stamped napkin from the pub that was their old haunt, was the missing piece in a trial that awarded sole ownership of the company to Miles and ruined Andi's name and her life forever.
However, the film's nonlinear narrative makes it clear that Blanc arrived on Miles' island with Andi, who is revealed to actually be Helen, the former's twin sister, both played by Janelle Monáe. Andi was found dead days before the island getaway, with Helen suspecting one of the attendees.
However, Glass Onion does not have a post-credits scene. Despite becoming a major franchise for Netflix and there being room for more stories, Rian Johnson does not utilize the now-popular after-credits tease device.
