In Stephen King's IT novel, Bill Denborough and Beverly Marsh don't just engage in some locking of lips once back in Derry as adults. Instead, the two pretty quickly end up having sex, and this isn't just some roll in the hay.

To seal their bond, each of the boys has sex with Beverly in a controversial scene portrayed from Beverly's perspective.
IT Chapter One Originally Had Pennywise Eat A Baby
The scene was ultimately cut before IT Chapter One's release, and it remains unclear how much, if any, of the scene was actually filmed before the decision to scrap it was made.
The deadlights made a cameo in 2017's “It” when Beverly looked into Pennywise's open mouth and saw three, small white lights deep inside her throat. As far as I remember, from the book, Pennywise is, at the very least, a shape shifter.
She is the only female member of the group which consists of Bill Denbrough, Richie Tozier, Eddie Kaspbrak, Mike Hanlon, Stan Uris, and Ben Hanscom. Beverly had a crush on Bill, but as an adult and towards the end of book, she lets go of her feelings for Bill and falls in love with Ben Hanscom.
Of all the members of the Losers Club, Bev has the most rational fear. While the boys fear monsters and imaginary things, Bev is afraid of her own biology. Despite it being inevitable, she is terrified of growing up.
Beverly's father physically abuses her while making subtle sexual advances on her when her mother is away from the house. Mr. Bowers encourages his son to attack and abuse Mike because of the color of his skin.
He is also a mentioned character in 11/22/63. He was the youngest of the seven members of The Losers' Club, and the only member Pennywise is afraid of.
She has a crush on Bill and imagining he gave her a gift helps her to escape her terrible life. It's confusing, though, when this flakiness travels into adulthood and we find Beverly kissing Bill one scene and then seemingly ending up with Ben at the end.

Romantic False Lead — Bev gets with Ben at the end of the movie/book even after her teased romance with Bill.
He abuses Beverly and her mother and acts misogynistic. He hates it when she hangs around with boys. He is last mentioned during Beverly's childhood as trying to kill her out of anger to It's influence. He is also a form that It uses to frighten Beverly since she is afraid of him.
However, they make an oath that, if Pennywise is not in fact dead, they will all return to Derry to defeat him. In his adult life, Bill has become a successful writer and married an actress, Audra Phillips. Bill has controlled his stutter and, due to the nature of It, cannot remember Derry, Georgie, or The Losers Club.
Bill and Beverly quickly find a room and partake in sexual intercourse and halfway through, Beverly remembers what she did for the male Losers in the sewer and questions Bill about it, before sleeping naked together.
When George is killed by Pennywise the Dancing Clown, Bill is ten years old and a student at Derry Elementary School. After George's death, Bill's parents shut him out, which he internalizes as a sense that he is partly responsible for George's death and that they value him less than they did his younger brother.
He slaps and punches Beverly but also sexually abuses her by masturbating over her while putting her to bed. He works as a janitor. Al sees himself as a man with “no vices” because he does not drink or commit infidelity. In addition to being abusive, he is misogynistic.
Throughout the novel, IT is generally referred to as male; however, late in the novel, the characters come to realize that IT is most likely female, due to its true form in the physical realm being that of a giant pregnant female spider.
Beverly's father can't see any of the blood in the bathroom. On one level, this is because he's an adult; a major theme of It is that the innate power of childhood and ability to remember childhood fears serve as a crucial weapon against It.
After the Losers' Club defeat Pennywise, they get lost in Derry's sewer system. After coming to the realisation that they can't escape without being unified, Beverly — the single female member — decides she needs to have sex with the six boys.
So the theory is that Bev's major fear is of womanhood, hence Pennywise's vagina mouth. She fears sexuality, sexual experience and how all of it naturally comes with growing up.
