Chucky reveals that the spell that allowed them all to come alive was achieved by getting a child to kill for him, Junior. He also mentions that he plans for Junior to kill his friend Devon, who is being held captive.
Chucky acquaints Junior and convinces him to kill those he believes is responsible for his family falling apart. Jake steals money from Logan and runs away from home; however, he changes his mind after buying a suspicious Good Guy doll and brings it to Lexy's house.
During his eighth birthday party in 1965, Charles overhears there's a killer loose in his hometown of Hackensack, New Jersey. Soon after, he is woken in the night by a strange noise downstairs. He investigates and sees his father being brutally stabbed to death by the killer.
So as we saw on the episode, Chucky needed somebody to kill for him as a way to initiate them into his cult. The cult allows Charles Lee Ray soul to gain more powers and exponentially grow.
He only became evil due to his sadistic desire to hurt and kill others, shown when his father was killed by the Hackensack killer, and decided to become just like him because he was inspired by the killers actions.

Did Chucky ever kill anyone?
So, while Chucky has stabbed, shot, strangled, and otherwise mangled more victims than he has defenestrated them, by far some of his most shocking kills to date have been the result of someone getting tossed out of a window.
He and his mother flee upstairs and hide inside a closet, bringing along a small pocketknife for protection. By the time the killer finds their hiding spot, however, Mrs. Ray is dead, stabbed by her own son. His first-ever kill.
Some time later, the Hackensack Slasher broke into his home and killed his father right in front of him. His mother attempted to hide in a closet with him, however, when the Hackensack Slasher found them, he was surprised to see that Charles had stabbed his mother to death, claiming to have helped.
The Child's Play franchise is known for its brutal, high kill counts. Racking up the kills together from all seven movies, Chucky has killed a total of 67 people. For Chucky being a pint-sized killer doll, he has enough expertise and weapons to kill more people in Chucky season 2.

Charles Lee Ray was a character known as the Lakeshore Strangler who murdered 22 people before his death in the beginning of Child's Play. He is Chucky's original human form before he transferred his soul into a doll.
Enraged, Junior takes Chucky and bashes his father with it. Knocking him down, he bludgeons his father to death with the doll. The episode then ends with the two singing "We Got the Beat" from The Go-Gos.
When an argument reveals that Chucky had no intention of marrying her, an outraged and hurt Tiffany confines him in a playpen and taunts him with a Wedding Belle doll. Chucky breaks out of the pen and electrocutes Tiffany in her bath, killing her.
Chucky kills Andy's teacher Miss Kettlewell by stabbing her with a pump and then beating her multiple times with a yardstick, but Andy manages to escape. Andy tries to warn his foster parents about Chucky, but Phil refuses to believe him and considers returning him to the foster center.
At the end of the film, Andy, his mother Karen, and two police detectives, Mike Norris and Jackie Santos, try to fight off Chucky. After he's lit on fire and loses both an arm and a leg, Karen shoots him repeatedly, and he is even beheaded. It isn't until Norris shoots Chucky in the heart that he finally dies.
Because he is a doll, however, he never truly dies and has attained a level of immortality. As a result, Chucky is actually a much better killer as a doll than a human. As Chucky is a doll, without a fragile human body, he is actually virtually impossible to kill.

In order to get Glen's soul into a human body, Chucky's semen is inserted by Tiffany into Jennifer so she can bear a child for Glen to use. As the two awake the next morning, unaware of the events of the night before, Jennifer suddenly experiences morning sickness and realizes that she is pregnant.
Shortly thereafter, Chucky attempts to murder Tiffany, which causes Glenda to switch back to Glen, who heroically defends his mother. Although he does kill Chucky to do so, it's a noble act of protection that's common among male characters in horror.
When Nica asks Chucky what his motive is, he reveals that he was a family friend that was secretly in love with Nica's mother Sarah. He killed her father and kidnapped Sarah. When Sarah contacted the police and staged his arrest, he stabbed her in the stomach causing Nica's impairment.
After her husband's funeral, she is kidnapped by Charles, but manages to call the police. Charles angered by her rejection, pulls out a knife and stabs her in the stomach before fleeing the oncoming police. Because she was pregnant with Nica, his actions cause her to be paraplegic.
Jade grabs Preston's gun and shoots Chucky several times in the chest, killing him. After contacting the police and declaring the teens innocent, Preston sends the couple on their way home.
He defies the doll's influence, running past Lexy to stab Chucky in the chest, telling him "she's not like us". However, Chucky manages to fatally stab Junior in the chest as well, causing him to collapse. With his final breath, he asks Lexy to tell the others he's sorry before dying in her arms.
