Wilson Fisk visited a chained Frank Castle and admitted that he had underestimated him. He told Castle that he was helping him escape so that Castle could eliminate the rival crime factions in New York City, so that when Fisk was released, the city would be his for the taking.
Their reasoning is that when Kingpin dies, it will create a power vacuum and the scramble to fill it will be bloody, resulting in many civilian deaths. The Punisher begrudgingly spares the Kingpin's life after seeing their point.
Fisk is imprisoned as a result. He later hatches a scheme to be freed and regain his wealth by giving the FBI proof in the form of the nonexistent "Murdock Papers" that Murdock is Daredevil.
Desiring his freedom, Fisk then set about a plan to exploit the FBI by exposing criminals in New York City in order to then be placed in the Presidential Hotel, where Fisk could continue with all of his criminal activities while focusing most of his efforts on exposing Matt Murdock as Daredevil.

What did Fisk want from Punisher?

Wilson Fisk grew up in poverty and was tormented by his classmates for being overweight. Tired of being bullied, he began to train himself in physical combat. When he gained a powerful physique, he forced his former tormentors into joining his gang, and thus, his desire for absolute control began.
Fisk doesn't take very many of his foes seriously, but he is clearly incredibly afraid. He knows that whatever happens next is his fault and he also knows how dangerous Bullseye is.
Blaming Spider-Man for taking his family from him once again, Kingpin brutally beats Miles down, sadistically remarking that he's going to make sure he never sees his own family ever again.
At the same time, Fisk found himself rattled after a meeting with Karen Page; she told him Karen telling him she was the one who had killed his colleague, and trusted friend, James Wesley. Fisk ordered Karen's death and sent Poindexter, again dressed as Daredevil, to take care of her.

The Punisher starts off strong by shooting Daredevil in the torso, putting him down for the count until Daredevil comes back the following issue and defeats the Punisher. One of their following encounters was in Daredevil #4 by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto where Matt proves his unquestioned superiority.
The two have physically sparred multiple times, and each has been victorious over the other from time to time. That said, it's notable that Kingpin was the victor in their first showdown.
As he grew, Fisk believed that physical strength was a major factor in building power in the underworld. He committed his first murder at the age of 12 and trained to build up his strength as much as he could, becoming fascinated in the art of sumo wrestling and the academic field of political science.
Kingpin's survival in Hawkeye suggests that he is physically stronger in the MCU than in Daredevil, leading to questions about his increased strength and how it contributed to his survival.
Kingpin has previously picked up Spider-Man and thrown him into walls, and has been shown to stand his ground during their battles, but there's no doubt that the wall-crawler is far stronger. Spider-Man has always bested Kingpin, and has even displayed a punch so powerful he has knocked Kingpin out in one blow.
Jameson believes that he cannot look at himself as a good man while a hero like Spider-Man exists. Despite this, he openly idolizes Captain America, and Mary Jane Watson-Parker has suggested that Jameson hates Spider-Man mainly because he acts outside the law.
Silke is absolutely dumbfounded that Kingpin knows who Daredevil is and still hasn't made a move, but it's not just Kingpin who knows. It turns out that all of Kingpin's men are aware of this secret, and they pretend otherwise because they don't want to draw their boss' ire.
While it's debatable how much of Wilson Fisk's behavior is due to childhood trauma versus anything like autism, symptoms such as his difficulty with eye contact, preference for precise routine, and stilted speech patterns have led critics to interpret him as an autistic character.
MGH Could Have Given Kingpin His Enhanced Strength In Hawkeye. In Marvel Comics, Wilson Fisk was known to have access to MGH long before he became the infamous crime boss, establishing him as one of the earliest users of the controversial drug.
The main character, Matt Murdock (Daredevil), became blind after an incident involving a chemical spill when he was a child. The accident gave him superhuman senses and the ability to navigate the world in a different way.
The enrolled student population at Fisk University is 75.4% Black or African American, 1.8% Two or More Races, 1.27% Hispanic or Latino, 0.955% White, and 0.531% Asian.
Miller brought Kingpin in as the arch enemy for his stories. During this run Daredevil would fight other villains, but Kingpin was always manipulating things behind the scenes. The rivalry that Miller developed between these characters has continued ever since and Daredevil has remained Kingpins arch enemy.
