Jill kills Trevor and betrays Charlie, stabbing him to death to pin him as Trevor's accomplice so she can be the sole survivor. She then stabs Sidney and injures herself to frame Trevor further. Dewey and the police arrive as Sidney and Jill are taken to the hospital.
She is Sidney Prescott's egotistical and envious cousin who wants to become famous just like her. To accomplish this, Jill becomes the next Ghostface and pretends to be a surviving victim of the very massacre she creates.
This is apparently what happened between Jill and Charlie: Jill seduced Charlie into doing her bidding and thinking that she loved him, he agreed to help her with her killing spree. She is a like her cousin's ex-boyfriend Billy Loomis.
In Scream 4, a killer appears when Sidney returns to Woodsboro on the fifteenth anniversary of the original killings. This killer is revealed to be Sidney's cousin Jill Roberts (Emma Roberts), with horror film fan Charlie Walker (Rory Culkin) serving as her accomplice.

How many kills did Jill have?
Jill gets seven kills in the film, way more than her partner Charlie, who also ends up on her kill list by the end. Jill is the one who actually kills the cops outside her house since Charlie was off hosting the Stab-A-Thon.

However, Jill is still alive and proceeds to grab a glass shard in a final attempt to kill Sidney for good. However, Sidney grabs Dewey's gun and shoots her in the chest as she drops to the ground, dead, with her eyes open.
Trevor Sheldon and Jill Roberts were in love until Trevor cheated on her. Trevor cheated on Jill with someone. In the deleted scenes of the film, it is heavily implied to be Jenny Randall or Marnie Cooper hence why she was targeted.
