In his exile, Odin apparently thought over all the acts he had done and likely felt remorse over them, as he showed no hostility towards Loki and even noted Frigga would be proud of him. He also admitted that he truly loved both of his sons and expressed remorse for failing to stop Ragnarök.
Odin hated Fenrir and killed him, which had no real valid reason. This is more than enough for Loki to hate Odin, but also the fact that everyone was still good with Odin makes Lokis hate even more understandable. He was betrayed by all of his friends and wants revenge.

While Thor has used the Odinforce on multiple occasions in the comics, he was never able to fully control it, with the recent God of Hammers arc even revealing that he was never tapping into its full power in previous uses because Odin was still alive.
