Obi-Wan's explanation was that she dies because she lost the will to live. People have said that it didn't make sense, after all, she just got her children. But she knew that Luke and Leia would be taken care of, and Obi-Wan would make sure of it.
She threw herself from a balcony, claiming that she no longer recognized her love. Thus, Vader's quest to save Padmé ended with her choosing to commit spiritual suicide so that she wouldn't have to go back with him.
Many theories have come out in regards to Padme dying despite the medical droid insisting that she was medically and physically healthy. She appeared to have “lost the will to live.” The most common theory states that perhaps Palpatine used Padme's life force to heal the barely alive Anakin.
Padmé said, her heart was broken, and later, the medical droid said she lost the will to live. However, Padmé said herself, “there is still good in him [Anakin]. I know”. And she is not exactly in the state of emotional numbness.
So overall, it seems highly likely that the answer is no, Palpatine didn't have the power to save Padmé's life. He hadn't even begun learning the power when Anakin became Darth Vader, and the idea of saving lives was of no interest to him.

Did Anakin regret killing Padme?
Anakin does not have even the slightest bit of remorse. By the end, he feels nothing but anger. Although he feels regret for killing Padme, he still helps the evil Emperor. The film ends with Anakins standing side by side with the man on whose behalf he has committed all his crimes.
Why did Anakin continue to serve Palpatine after Padme died?
So, while it certainly wasn't his ideal, Anakin stayed on with Palpatine because he thought what Palpatine was morally correct. Would he have preferred to have shared that future with his wife and children?
Anakin truly did care for Padme, except Anakin was not at all in his right mind when he choked her. Anakin has many issues, he has tramua both from war and childhood, he has sever fear of loss and he is extremely loyal to the ones he chooses to befriend. This all comes into play in this moment when he chokes her.
Her body was made to still look pregnant in order to keep Luke and Leia safe from their father, Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith formerly known as Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who fell to the dark side of the Force in a failed attempt to save his wife from dying.
Anakin's Force Choke begins the series of injuries that ultimately leads to Padme's death, and convinces Obi-Wan to fight him. Despite this, when Anakin learns of Padme's death, his immediate reaction of grief and regret shatters everything in the lab with a powerful force shockwave.
Before he could enter, however, Vader was stopped by Sabé, Eirtaé, Rabé, Saché, and Dormé, former handmaidens of Amidala, who refused to let him enter into the grave so he would not desecrate it. However, Vader would not be denied. As he entered the tomb, he became flooded with memories of Amidala.

What he did not see, at the time at least, was that Padmé used her last breaths to tell Obi-Wan that she was certain that in regards to her husband, "there's still good in him." Now, those words are set to be revealed to someone other than Darth Vader himself.
In the main Star Wars timeline, of course, Darth Vader's attempts to resurrect Padmé on Mustafar were doomed to failure. But it's fascinating to speculate what would have happened had he been successful. In that scenario, Padmé Amidala's return from the dead would not have provided the solace Darth Vader sought.
tragically, he was not able to resurrect Padme. because she refused to go with him. due to his inability to let go, telling him she didn't know him anymore, jumping away from him to her death.
Since she wouldn't have been able act as a Rebel leader within the Senate, a famous and renowned Republic leader like Padmé would have been the perfect choice to become the figurehead for the Rebellion. This means that if Padmé had survived, she would have become Public Enemy Number One to the Empire.
He had no idea Padmé had given birth before she died, still less that the Jedi had spirited the children away and hidden them. Darth Vader's illusions were shattered shortly after the destruction of the first Death Star.
Darth Vader awakens, and his first question is about the whereabouts of Padmé. Palpatine tells Darth Vader that in his anger he killed her, placing the blame for Padmé's death on Vader. Vader denies it, saying he sensed Padmé was still alive, which the audience knows she was as Obi-Wan escaped on the ship with her.
Vader is too grief-stricken about his mother to EVER step foot on Tatooine, even though the plans for the Death Star are there. Vader is too grief-stricken to EVER go to Naboo to go to his wife's grave.
Before Padmé's death, she still believed there was still good left in Anakin, and that one day he could be redeemed. During Anakin's time as the Emperor's enforcer, he continued to suffer from grief over Padmé's death, and guilt over his supposed hand in it.
If Anakin had never fell in love with Padmé, he would've never turned to the Dark Side because it was his fear for losing Padmé and his two unborn children which caused him to be easily seduced by the Dark Side of the Force. It was his fear which made it much easier for Palpatine to manipulate Anakin.
At some point, Anakin reached a point of no return in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith where he gave himself over to the dark side. But even then, his desire was to create a better world for himself and Padmé.
Leia is adopted by Organa and his wife on Alderaan to be raised as a princess, while Obi-Wan brings Luke to Tatooine, where the boy is to be raised by Vader's stepbrother Owen Lars (Joel Edgerton) and his wife Beru (Bonnie Piesse).
When he began to suffer visions that Padmé would die in childbirth, Anakin sought a way to prevent this fate. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, a mentor to the young Jedi, claimed that the dark side was a pathway to this ability: he could stop people from dying with Sith power.
