Springtrap once went trhough a fire and he survived (FNAF 6) and once the person responsible for that fire realized this, they tried again (FNAF 3), but Springtrap still survived. The phantom animatronics need help to finally kill Springtrap, and that is why they continue to haunt us in FNAF 3.
