Finn, originally designated "FN-2187", is an ex-First Order stormtrooper who served under Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). He was taken from his family at a young age and sold to the First Order to become a part of their ever-expanding army.
Belonging to a new generation of stormtroopers, FN-2187 was raised to fight for the First Order. The boy who would become Finn was taken at the age of three from his family to serve the First Order. Finn later reflected that he had been too young to even remember who his family was.
