Bringing back Isla Fisher for Now You See Me 3 fixes a mistake made by replacing her in the second film. The new installment will combine original cast members with a younger generation of magicians. Isla Fisher's return as Henley Reeves could be explained by Dylan reaching out to her after she left the group.

After the successful execution of their plan, the Horsemen find themselves in a mysterious apartment. Here, they encounter a figure cloaked in darkness who reveals himself to be Dylan Rhodes, the FBI agent who had been chasing them throughout the movie.

What happened to Dylan's father in Now You See Me?
In 1984, as an attempt to regain his fame, Dylan's father tried to escape from a safe, made by a small company called Elkhorn, while underwater. In a cheap and defective safe at the bottom of the river, Shrike was imprisoned inside and (in all likelihood) drowned.
As a secret organization, The Eye's structure and leadership might not be known to all but its most trusted members. As a low level Eye member (which Dylan seems to be, based on the sequel), he especially would not be privy to that information.
It was a success, apparently to the point where the studio thought the audience needed more. We didn't and this film doesn't really offer anything new and it expects us to really be invested in these characters and their story.
