However, recently the Venom symbiote was pregnant after absorbing a clone of itself and wanted to rebounded with Spider-Man because bounding with Brock would kill the child because he had cancer. While they have a latent ability to sense the proximity of their progeny, they usually have no interest in them.
Why did the symbiote choose Spider-Man in Spider-Man 2?
Peter Parker, Mary Jane, and Harry Osborn are three characters in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 who eventually become hosts for the symbiote. Despite each of them being heroes in one way or another, however, the symbiote chooses them for a reason — specifically, on account of their consistently suffering mental health.
Venom looks like Spider-Man because, before bonding with Eddie Brock, Spider-Man was wearing the Venom symbiote. It copied Spider-Man's suit logo and when it was 'rejected' by Spider-Man, it kept the logo. Why? Partly because of its connection to Spider-Man and, perhaps, also to mock Spider-Man, who it resented.
The Venom symbiote bonds with a host and can make them stronger, improving Peter's spider-powers in nearly every way. It does take a toll on its host, however, as it makes them far more aggressive and corrupts them as it gradually takes control.

Why did Venom choose Eddie?
Venom came to empathize with Eddie's status as a "loser", eventually deciding to turn on its own kind and save the Earth from being invaded. The symbiote ultimately agreed to work alongside Eddie as a vigilante, to only hurt bad people despite its own confusion of how it can tell the difference of who is good or bad.
in some realities, the symbiote feeds on the baser emotions of its host, creating an increasingly hostile personality. The longer the host is exposed to the symbiote, the more overpowering this state of mind becomes.
Basically, the symbiote didn't attempted to talk with Peter because it wanted to remain loyal and obedient like a servant. It didn't felt the need to talk to him, only to serve him.
Most folks are familiar with the fact that the symbiote who would come to be known as Venom first bonded with Peter Parker. It got a taste of the power of Spider-Man and grew to love that power. It grew to love the feeling of the wind on its face swinging through the city. It loved the force behind every punch.
By eating Carnage, Venom is effectively returning his spawn back to his former "unborn" state within Venom's mass, not taking anything he didn't already have into his cells.

The Nuform theory appears to be the most credible, given the ending to Spider-Man Miles Morales, which has Miles absorbing some Nuform as the electrical effect that courses through him begins to turn blue, much like what is shown in the trailer.
During the storyline "Planet Of The Symbiotes," Venom is briefly separated from Flash, then proceeds to bonds with Groot, Rocket, and Drax at various points. This series offered fans a glimpse at what each of the Guardians would look like bonded to the Venom symbiote thanks to a series of unlikely events.

Venom's symbiote has explained on many occasions that the Klyntar planet is practically devoid of emotions, yet over time he knows that he forms genuine love for Eddie. Venom bonds more with Eddie and experiences guilt, jealousy, and sadness over his other half.

Perhaps the Marvel Universe's deadliest symbiote, Carnage debuted in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1963) #345. Shortly after spawning from Venom, the Carnage symbiote bonded to a serial killer named Cletus Kasady.

Peter's interactions with the Symbiote suit reveal the negative effects it has on him, leading to violent and aggressive behavior towards his allies. The Symbiote's influence causes Peter to make disturbing comments and hurl insults, contrasting with his typically kindhearted and polite demeanor.
In a flashback, it is revealed that she got pregnant with Eddie's child after bonding to Venom. After giving birth to their son Dylan, she left him in the care of Carl Brock, with the promise that she would return eventually. She instead committed suicide, after which Carl raised Dylan.
