William "Billy" Loomis is the secondary antagonist of the Scream franchise. He is a horror film fanatic who pressured his best friend Stu Macher into helping him commit the inaugural Ghostface killing spree in Woodsboroout of anger for his parent's divorce.
By far the most popular motive in the Scream films is revenge. Billy claims to have raped and killed Maureen because she had an affair with his father, which caused his mother to leave him. Who killed more people, Stu or Billy?
Billy Loomis - Billy single-handedly killed 2 people, and with Stu's help, he killed two more for a total of 4 kills. Along with Stu, he killed Maureen Prescott (Sidney's mother) and also Casey Becker (Stu's ex-girlfriend).
Adding to his sadism, Stu is rather spiteful as he also saw this as a good opportunity to get revenge on his ex-girlfriend, Casey Becker by killing her and Steve Orth purely out of pettiness for her dumping him.
