What happened. In January 2019, allegations of sexual misconduct against Mignogna came to a head following the premiere of his film Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The voice actor quickly denied any allegations of sexual harassment or sexual assault.
Not true for the English dub. Broly was voiced by Vic Mignogna for a long time (and Z Broly in this game still has his voice), but now he's been replaced by Johnny Yong Bosch.
In 2019, embattled anime voice actor Vic Mignogna, accused of sexual harassment by several parties, filed a defamation lawsuit against former employer Funimation and several other voice actors. The court ruled against him in October of that year, prompting him to file an appeal.

Cheelai (チライ Chirai) is formerly a soldier of the Frieza Force and a major character in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. She was voiced by Nana Mizuki in the Japanese version, and by Erica Lindbeck in the English version.
With Cheelai showing him kindness, Broly becomes as attached to the girl as he is to his father. Once she gives him food rations, the pair's tentative friendship was made official. Broly goes on to stand up for Cheelai when a Freeza Force soldier harasses her, and she does the same for Broly against Paragus.
He's insane. At birth Goku's crying affected Broly's psychological state of mind, causing him to have a subconscious grudge against Goku which doesn't fully awaken until the two of them meet again 30 years later. This created a multiple personality disorder one personality where he's sane and one where he's insane.
This is because, in Japan, Goku's voice actor is Masako Nozawa -- a very talented human being with a prestigious career, who also happens to be a woman. Masako voiced Goku from the very first episode of Dragon Ball when he was just a little kid.

Broly started as a rage-filled villain seeking vengeance against Goku due to childhood trauma. Broly's past showcases a sadistic and destructive nature, fueled by his inability to control his immense power.
At the end of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Goku provides Broly, Lemo and Cheelai with all the supplies necessary to survive the harshness of the planet Vampa. Goku remarks on how impressed he is with Broly's battle prowess and indicates he wants to be friends, with Broly seemingly reciprocating this interest.
To Paragus, Broly was merely a tool with which he could exact his revenge, but it would seem that despite this, Broly still cared deeply for his father.
It is implied in Bio-Broly that his hatred for Goku is so great that it has become ingrained in him to the genetic level as his clone Bio-Broly seemingly inherited his hatred and habit of saying "Kakarot!", indicating he passed it on to his clone through some form of genetic memory.
The Super Saiyan Green form also symbolizes Broly's connection to nature and the environment. The green color represents growth, life, and the forces of nature. It showcases Broly's raw power, similar to how plants harness the energy of the sun and grow exponentially.
The merger has been executed through several phases, and in April 2024 it has finally been completed, as Funimation officially shut down, with Crunchyroll remaining as the sole streaming service.
