Grogu, naturally, chooses the armor. He returns to Mando in the “Book of Boba Fett” Season 1 finale, a deeply emotional moment that barely matters at all to Boba Fett but means a great deal to Mando, Grogu and fans of “The Mandalorian.”
It was believed that Grogu would eventually become a victim of Kylo Ren's destruction of Luke's Jedi Order. However, The Book of Boba Fett revealed that Grogu chose to follow the Way of the Mandalorian rather than become a Jedi, sparing him from Kylo Ren's wrath.
The Mandalorian & Grogu will be the first Star Wars feature film since The Rise of Skywalker (Episode IX) closed out the sequel trilogy in 2019, a month after The Mandalorian debuted on Disney+.

Mangold knew his darker approach would probably scare off Lucasfilm executives, but it was the eventual box office failure of “Solo” that put a pin in his Boba Fett movie.
Din Grogu (/ˈɡroʊɡu/), colloquially referred to as Baby Yoda, is a character from the Star Wars Disney+ original television series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. He is a toddler member of the same species as the Star Wars characters Yoda and Yaddle, with whom he shares a strong ability in the Force.
Luke Skywalker trained Grogu in the ways of the Force, but gave him a choice: become a Jedi or return to Din Djarin to become a Mandalorian. The orphan chose the latter and accompanied Din Djarin on his new adventures in the galaxy far, far away. At the end of season 3, however, he was formally adopted by Mando.
Even though he does have Jedi abilities, Grogu is a Mandalorian at heart. Just because he isn't by Luke's side anymore doesn't mean he can't use what he has already learned to increase his connection with the Force.
To be clear, Grogu is not a younger version of Yoda since "The Mandalorian" is set after "Return of the Jedi," in which Yoda (played by Frank Oz) died. They are, however, of the same species — but that species has not yet been revealed. There are more similarities between Yoda and Grogu than just looks.
Grogu constructed his lightsaber under the guidance and supervision of Luke Skywalker, his Master, soon after beginning his training under him. The lightsaber was created in 32 ABY, when Grogu began to speak and had marvellous skills in the Force.
While fans don't know the state of Grogu's well-being in the sequel trilogy, his ties to Mandalore might explain why Kylo Ren doesn't kill him. It's likely Grogu stays with Din Djarin and the Mandalorians, and never returns to embark on his training with Luke.
Grogu had survived the Great Jedi Purge and was hidden away. Years later, he was rediscovered by a remnant of the Galactic Empire after it fell and led by Moff Gideon. At this point, Grogu became known to many simply as the Child, during the New Republic Era.

A Jedi needs to be a selfless servant, not an aggressive warrior. Yoda's teachings were focused on balance, both literally and figuratively. He wanted Luke to gain an understanding of the Force so that he would not be consumed with the prospects of combat.
Why did no one recognize Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian?
The Rebel leadership's devotion to an idealized Republic/Jedi Order, and their use of Luke as an extension of this, may have been a liability were it made public. If this was the case, rank-and-file troops like Cara Dune might not even have known who Luke was, let alone the fact that he was a Jedi.
But Jon Favreau confirmed the scripts for 'The Mandalorian Season 4' had been completed before Season 3 came to an end. Know in detail. After 'The Mandalorian Season 3' established a new status quo for Din Djarin at its finale, the fourth season will weave the story and move forward from this point.
Grogu's mother is either Yaddle or some other female member of Yoda's species, but he has no father. Because just like Anakin, Grogu was born off the Will of the Force, with no dad, and that explains why he's so powerful at an age that's considered an infant for Yoda's species.
Comparing Din's love for Grogu to that of a super fan is a huge testament to the Star Wars characters' bond. If Pascal's words aren't enough to prove this, Din's actions surely are as he made himself complete the largest test of love there is: letting Grogu go.
Grogu was trained as a padawan in the Jedi Temple, yet spent decades surprising his powers to survive. The Child spent a couple of years training with Luke Skywalker but chose to return to the Mandalorian. If Grogu completes his Jedi training, he will become the second Mandalorian Jedi.
Given that Grogu, Yoda, and Yaddle are the only known canon members of their species, it makes sense why some would try to draw a connection between the three of them. While Star Wars hasn't disproved the theory, it's highly unlikely that Yoda or Yaddle were Grogu's biological parents.
Given the rarity of his species in the galaxy, along with the fact that the only other two known members of Grogu's species were both living in the Temple when he was born, it seems likely that Grogu is the child of Yoda and Yaddle and was born to help preserve their rare species.
