Casting announcements for Ahsoka have already revealed that it will function as a pseudo-sequel to the animated show Star Wars Rebels, paving the way for the live-action debut of not only Grand Admiral Thrawn, but also Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) and the Mandalorian Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo).
Sabine has since been training to master the ways of the Force under Ahsoka, but chafes from Ahsoka's strict training regime and outlook. Given the time gap, this would make Sabine about 31 years old during the Disney+ series.
Ahsoka and Sabine are stranded in another galaxy, and there's no telling when or if they'll ever return to their own. There are several ways they could return: the purrgil could help, Peridea may have a portal to the World Between Worlds, or Ezra could steal Thrawn's hyperspace ring to return to them.

Will Sabine wear her armor in Ahsoka?
It's still rewarding to see how Sabine is treating her armor the same in live-action as she did in animation, with updates to the paintings and now her iconic haircut to fit with her helmet. Her armor will continue to serve her in Ahsoka as Sabine pursues her Jedi training and aids Ahsoka's mission to bring Ezra home.
Ezra Bridger and Sabine Wren's relationship was one of the main aspects of Star Wars Rebels. Though they have their fights, Ezra and Sabine are best friends and have a relationship built on trust, possibly the first friendship between a Mandalorian and a Jedi.

For my wife and I, one of the hardest things to connect with in these first two episodes, was the Sabine/Ahsoka relationship. We're presented with two people who have broken up - not romantically, but as friends, as master/apprentice, etc - and it feels like something we should care about.

Training in the ways of the Force under the mentorship of Kanan Jarrus, Ezra became a Jedi Padawan and a part of the emerging rebellion. He also grew close to Hera Syndulla, Zeb, Chopper, and Sabine Wren, who was like a sister in his new found family.
Ezra has taken on greater and more dangerous villains than Ahsoka. Romn: Heck ya! Zombie: Ezra also won because he is just stronger in the force, more fluid, thinks quicker, and more daring.
Throughout the Clone Wars series, many of Ahsoka's action could be read towards her being interested in all genders. She clearly had a crush on Lux Bonteri, the Separatist senator turned rebel freedom fighter.
Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker can be considered gray Jedi because they possess traits of both Jedi and Sith philosophies and can traverse both sides of the Force.
