There is more strobing in the 4DX than I noticed in MX4D leading me to believe that MX4D doesn't have any. There is minimal scent in 4DX, and I only noticed it when we see Tony Stark at his cabin by the lake. I could hear something being blown/sprayed, but it was a minute or two before I could smell the pine scent.
4dx films are best experienced on big screens. Theatres in mumbai give you the real feeling of actually being a part of the movie. The snowfalls, rain, and sunlight scenes are best experienced when you watch them in 4dx. Plus, the exciting action scenes make you jump from your seats.

The motion seats of the 4DX system are programmed to move according to a predetermined sequence during movie screening. As a result, motion seats can cause the following problems: your personal effects (e.g. popcorn, beverages etc.) may be dropped or spilt.

Can the 4DX effects be turned off? There is a button on the arm rest, which can be used to turn the water effects off. No other effects can be turned on/off. All chairs will move together, and no individual chairs can be stopped.

I have tickets to see a 4dx movie in a few weeks, but I just read that the seats have a recommended 240lb weight limit. I'm about 275, so obviously more than that. It's not exactly an intense movie (it's a concert) so I can't imagine there's a ton of movement which is what I would think the weight limit is for.
