In Tales of the Jedi, set thousands of years before the original Star Wars film, the Mandalorians are a major military power who side with the Sith in their war against the Jedi, and their leader is manipulated by the Sith into triggering a war with the Republic.
Despite using their skills as bounty hunter, mercenaries, and hired killers, Mandalorians are, in truth, very honorable and live their lives according to a strict set of mandates that they believe define themselves as true warriors. Weather this be their clans' code or their own is up for them to choose.
Star Wars' Mandalorians Have a History Of Sith Alliances
Nearly three hundred years later, the Sith Empire sponsored the rise to power of another Mandalorian leader known as Mandalore the Lesser, who would once again pledge the Mandalorian Clans to fight for the Sith Empire.
Hunt for Grogu. A tribe, known simply as "the Tribe," went into hiding after the Great Purge. Following the Great Purge, surviving Mandalorians went into hiding, and the Mandalorian people were believed to have perished completely.
Can Mandalorians remove their helmets in front of their spouse?
Among their many intriguing customs, the strict adherence to never removing their helmets in front of others raises questions about how Mandalorians engage in romantic relationships and raise their offspring.
Notably, the Dagoyan Masters of Bardotta regarded the Jedi as thieves and kidnappers because of that practice. Some Mandalorians, most notably members of Death Watch, held a grudge against the Jedi for their perceived crimes against Mandalore during the Mandalorian-Jedi War.
There have been other Mandalorians who have become Jedi, though. The first was Tarre Vizsla, the Mandalorian Jedi who created the Darksaber. Huyang mentions in Ahsoka episode 3 that there have also been few other Mandalorians who have trained to be Jedi in addition to Tarre and Sabine.
Tarre Vizsla was a Force-sensitive human male who, was inducted into the Jedi Order around 1050 BBY, becoming the first Mandalorian to do so. Tarre eventually became a famous Jedi Knight. Vizsla created the Darksaber during his time as a Jedi.
Before his death, the Mandalorian Jedi ruled all of Mandalore. Later, during the fall of the Old Republic at the hands of the Sith Empire, the Mandalorians raided the Jedi Temple on Coruscant and seized Vizsla's Darksaber.
While complex in his code and history, Din is far from evil. Does Din perform bounties and take some lives in the process? Absolutely. However, fans have never seen him taking out innocent civilians outside the bounty.
Despite the Mandalorians developing the perfect techniques to kill Jedi, they were not able to overcome the Jedi's greatest strength. Star Wars Rebels showed exactly why the Force can overcome any weapon the Mandalorians throw at the Jedi.
Mando love is pretty open, and marriage between clans can be used to form strong alliegances. Your clan doesn't like it, you can just leave or start another war (the perfect honeymoon, right?)
Yoda's 900 years of Jedi experience and knowledge would be weaponized on a scale never conceived. Sith Yoda's destructive power would be so strong it could wreck the entire galaxy. Once Dooku saw the vision, he couldn't deny the threat a Darth Yoda would pose. Of course, Yoda didn't turn to the Dark Side.
Well Yoda met Three Siths during his lifetime Yoda met Darth Bane ( at least his ghost) at one point during his training and after visiting his Sith Tomb. Yoda met the ghost of Darth Bane (season 6, episode 13) The Lost Missions of the Clone Wars.
According to the events of "The Mandalorian" so far, Grogu and Yoda are not the same character. They are simply from the same species. The name of this species has never been revealed since "Star Wars" creator George Lucas wanted to give Yoda a sense of mystery.
Mandalorians aren't exactly a race or an ethnicity, so not really. In Legends, however, clones, especially commandos and ARC troopers, were raised in Mandalorian culture, so they were more or less Mandalorians themselves due to that.
The war left Mandalore's surface scorched and desolate. The last great struggle between the Jedi and the Mandalorian warlords resulted in a large battle on Mandalore. This caused a cataclysm that scorched much of the planet's surface into lifeless white desert and ending the conflict, the Jedi emerging victorious.
To put it in the simplest terms, The Mandalorian is set after the original Star Wars trilogy (AKA A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi) but before the recent sequel trilogy (AKA The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker).
It seems that the warriors who rely on honor and traditional ways of combat couldn't comprehend the force of nature (no pun intended) that the Jedi were. Eventually, the tension between the two resulted in battles, likely started by the aggressive Mandalorian people.
Although he would retain his Mandalorian armor, Prime Minister Almec of the New Mandalorians disavowed any connection to Fett, claiming that he was simply a bounty hunter who had somehow stolen an artifact from Mandalore's troubled past.
Bo-Katan dismisses Boba as a pretender and a disgrace to his armor, refusing to acknowledge Jango Fett as the father of Boba and disparaging him for being a clone.
Early on in the Great Sith War, the forces of the Sith Lords Exar Kun and Ulic Qel-Droma clashed with Mandalore the Indomitable. The Great Sith War took place approximately 4,000 years before A New Hope.
