Shang-Chi is another Marvel kung-fu master that Wolverine has beaten. It was a very short fight- the two came across each other in Hong Kong and Wolverine was able to take Shang-Chi down. What makes it even more mind-boggling is this was when Wolverine had gone feral and wasn't nearly as in control as he usually was.
The Marvel Universe depicts in every issue. While Shang-Chi isn't necessarily as physically strong as the Hulk, his knowledge in martial arts potentially gives him the edge in a battle.
Magneto may not be impervious to harm like Wolverine, but he has an obvious advantage over him; Magneto can control and manipulate all metals even if there's only a small trace of them. On many occasions, in both the comics and the films, Magneto has used his powers to beat Wolverine.
This battle was particularly one-sided, yet Cap still came out on top, giving Logan one of the worst beatings of his life. Even though Captain America and Wolverine have had some brutal fights over the years, circumstances ultimately dictate their clashes, usually leading to an alliance rather than a clear victor.

Shang Chi would get slapped around- quite easily, actually. Now, I'm not saying Thor is a better fighter. On the contrary, if it came down to skill alone, Shang would probably hold his own against Thor.
His adamantium claws are one of the few weapons in the Marvel Universe that can consistently pierce Hulk's skin and Wolverine has no problem going for Hulk's head. In fact, if it came down to it, Wolverine could cut Hulk's head off, ending the Hulk once and for all.
Black Panther is Wolverine's superior in a lot of ways and has even been able to beat him in a short fight before, but if it really came down to it, all the cards on the table, Wolverine would beat him.
Wolverine was one of these heroes. Wolverine ran in with his usual ferocity and got the drop on Thanos, hitting him with all six claws in the chest. Without the Gauntlet, this may have hurt Thanos. With it, it was a meaningless attack.
Aquaman is as tough and skilled as they come but Wolverine can edge him out and take anything Aquaman throws at him. It won't be pretty but Wolverine will win this one.
Wolverine has less experience than Thor, but is a better martial artist. However, that wouldn't make much of a difference. Thor can fly and has Mjolnir at his disposal, giving him options for long range attacks Wolverine can't match. Wolverine is too smart to go against the God of Thunder alone.
Shang Chi would be a match for Iron Man, lose 60–70% of the time against current Doctor Strange, and stand no chance against Hulk or Thor who severely outclass him in durability and power.
But against Shang-Chi, she'd be at a disadvantage. She wouldn't be as strong or as fast as him. Her Widow Bites can be lethal, but Shang-Chi has dodged lethal weapons in the past. Her only real asset in a fight with him would be her cunning.
Unfortunately for Cheetah, Wolverine's healing factor gives him an incredible edge. It's hard to imagine her inflicting enough damage to keep him down. Even worse for her, his adamantium bones and claws tip the scales even further in his favor.
Wolverine and Deadpool have fought many times, each getting some wins. However, Deadpool probably has a lead in wins and losses between the two. Wolverine definitely can beat Deadpool and is stronger than him, but Deadpool's speed and healing factor have allowed him to get the drop on Wolverine and do a lot of damage.
Though the two superheroes fight on the same side, they have vastly different temperaments and powers, allowing for different possibilities while constructing fights. Iron Man #21 reveals that for all his massive wealth, Iron Man is simply no match for Logan - thanks to his armor's own incredible weakness.
However, by forcing Hulk to push himself to resist his power and even stripping off his skin in their fight, Cyclops revealed that his maximum power is something to behold - and may even be able to fell the Hulk in his classic, less overpowered, 'Savage Hulk' form.
The two brawlers have fought beyond these two encounters, but these two fights establish a few hard facts: the Hulk can be overpowered by the Juggernaut; the Hulk cannot consistently stop the Juggernaut; and most importantly, the Hulk's strength, even at maximum, cannot harm the Juggernaut at his maximum power.
If he's powered up by the rings, he likely could have killed Thanos if Thanos didn't have the stones. Keep in mind, Wenwu had the rings for thousands of years and had used them in countless battles. Despite this, he couldn't defeat Shang Chi with them.
Shang-Chi's Martial Arts Skills Are Better Than Captain America's. If there's any character who can rival Steve's martial arts skills in the MCU, it's Shang-Chi. While Captain America's prowess isn't in question, it's worth noting that his background can't compare with Liu's character.
Captain Marvel is slightly stronger, more durable, much faster, and she has a higher damage output. However, Shang-Chi is much, much more skilled. I think Shang-Chi (with the Ten Rings) will put up a good fight, but Captain Marvel will win.
