Currently, uru metal cannot break vibranium. Thor's hammer is made of uru so, in theory, if Thor could dent or break Captain america's shield with his hammer, then uru would be able to break vibranium. However, there has never been an instance where that has happened.
Vibranium is the strongest metal known to man. Uru is the strongest metal known to Asgardians. That should say it all. If Vibranium were on-par with, or superior to Uru, Asgardians would use the stuff, and Uru wouldn't be such a big deal to them.
