While the original Silver Surfer of Marvel's Earth-616 universe is immensely powerful on a cosmic scale, he is nothing compared to his DC crossover variant, as that version could take down Galactus with a single hit–and there's one very specific reason as to how that's even possible.
While Galactus needed complex machinery to destroy worlds and could be persuaded to spare certain planets, the Silver Surfer's final form simply destroys whatever it encounters in a single apocalyptic moment.
As a result, the transformed Surfer became more ambitious than his Earth-616 counterpart. As he traveled the galaxy serving as his Herald, the Surfer secretly coveted Galactus' power, and worked on a means of destroying him. Eventually, the Surfer succeeded, "nullifying" Galactus and killing him.
With just the flick of a finger, Thanos could make Galactus disappear in an instant. With the might of all the Infinity Stones and his natural strength, Thanos is nearly unstoppable, and arguably no single hero or villain in the Marvel world could defeat him alone.
With Thanos, Aegis and Tenebrous confronted Galactus and his newly restored herald, the Silver Surfer. Surprisingly, the three defeated the Surfer with relative ease.
10 Hulk. Silver Surfer has handily defeated the Hulk multiple times. While the Hulk is incredibly strong and one of Marvel's most powerful heroes, it's how the Silver Surfer was able to take him down that shows just how strong the herald of Galactus is.
Naturally, the Silver Surfer doesn't go down easily, but an additional factor puts the odds even more firmly in Thor's favor. Because of his mixed heritage, Thor can gain even greater power from his birth mother Gaea as well as his Asgardian father Odin.
Despite the fact that Galactus is a cosmic being older than the universe who regularly consumes entire planets, the earthbound Juggernaut shockingly proves to be more powerful than him–and one stunning side-by-side comparison confirms it.
Even though there are threats more powerful than Galactus and the Celestials in Marvel Comics, Galactus has never feared anything as much as he's feared Tiamut.

If it wasn't for the energy absorbing abilities of the Power Cosmic, Superman would easily win this fight. He's Surfer's superior in just about every way but power, and has beaten enemies who were vastly more powerful than him in the past.
Highfather's power is more than enough to defeat Galactus. The Power Cosmic and the Source are roughly equivalent, so Highfather could match Galactus's might. He'd do his best to defeat Galactus quickly by tackling the titan with the full power of the Source.
Spider-Man and Silver Surfer are on two completely different levels. Surfer doesn't even have to throw a punch or fire a blast at Spidey to beat him; he can merely transmute the surrounding molecules into something solid and hold him fast. Power like that is too much for the Wall-Crawler on his own.
Silver Surfer remains nigh-indestructible and has faced down some of the greatest threats the cosmos can muster. The Power Cosmic is one of the greatest powers out there, and Silver Surfer's skill with it would allow him to make short work of Goku.
Thanos Feared an Attack From Odin and He Might Have Been Planning One. However, it's possible that Odin kept his kids in the dark because he was preparing to take on Thanos all along.
Beyond good and evil, forced to destroy entire worlds to survive, Galactus is intimately tied to the nature of the universe. He believes it is his destiny to ultimately give back to the universe much more than he has taken. He currently has two heralds, Silver Surfer, and Stardust.
Galactus was killed by Thor during the "Herald of Thunder" story arc in Thor (vol. 6) #1–6 (March–August 2020), and reappeared after a two-year hiatus in Fantastic Four (vol. 6) #45 (July 2022)—the final issue of the event "Reckoning War"—where Galactus is resurrected by his former heralds.
Galactus could obliterate Deadpool a million times, but the Merc with a Mouth will come back every time to inflict a little more damage. There was one time in the comics when Deadpool faced Galactus head on, and somehow won.
Against Galactus, a being of Superman's size and strength would only stand a chance if Galactus is tremendously weak with hunger. Even if that were the case, the odds of Superman triumphing over Galactus are incredibly slim.

Although both are very powerful characters in the Marvel Universe it would definitely be Odin. The Surfer has awesome energy generation and control and can regularly challenge universal threats, but Odin is a Skyfather with magic that can destroy galaxies.
Odin stands a good chance at defeating a moderately-fed Galactus. Odin has been stated to be equal to a moderately-fed Galactus. Though Galan did withstand a powerful headbutt from Odin. The Devourer had just consumed one planet before that.
Kratos is physically more durable and has better close combat weapons but Silver Surfer's energy absorbing abilities and long range combat allows him to stand up. This battle seems to end in a tie but one solidary fact allows Silver Surfer to win. That being his energy absorbtion.
