Material(s) Shortly after the First Battle of Geonosis, the newly knighted Anakin Skywalker created a pendant for his wife Padmé Amidala. He gave it to her as a gift shortly after he was granted the rank of Jedi Knight while they went on a date within Uhmandasee Market.
Ahsoka survived Order 66, although the capital ship she was on crashed on a snowy planet. She left her one of her lightsabers behind - a blade that had been returned to her by Anakin himself.
Ahsoka is indeed Anakin's Padawan learner – or at least, she was, before she walked away from the Jedi Order (more on that later). In an Ahsoka featurette, Clone Wars creator Dave Filoni talked about developing Ahsoka with George Lucas. "Originally, we didn't know what The Clone Wars would be," Filoni reflected.
Hayden Christensen, who starred as Anakin, sported two braids in the film that were used to show his character's rank as a padawan within the Jedi Order. Had Anakin become a Jedi Knight — and, you know, not Darth Vader — the braids would have been cut off to designate his new rank.
After the bombing of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, Tano was believed to be the perpetrator of these crimes. The Jedi Council decided to cast Ahsoka from the Order, removing her status as a Padawan, stripping her of her Padawan braid as a symbolic gesture, and leaving her a civilian under the jurisdiction of the Senate.
Tales of the Jedi raises an interesting question about Darth Vader's morality and motivations during the rise of the Empire, suggesting he knew of Ahsoka Tano's survival after Order 66 but kept it hidden from the Empire.
Anakin Skywalker is Only Just Ahsoka Tano's Senior
At this point in the timeline, Ahsoka was 14 years old. As the animated movie took place in the same year as Attack of the Clones, this puts Anakin at 19 years old, creating a five-year age gap between him and Ahsoka.
Anakin Skywalker's Padawan during the Clone Wars, Ahsoka survived Order 66 and became a key agent in the nascent Rebel Alliance. Ahsoka began to suspect the truth about Darth Vader in Star Wars Rebels season 2, and her worst fears were confirmed when she confronted the Sith Lord in the dramatic finale.
Years later, when Ahsoka learns of her master's transformation into Darth Vader on Rebels, she partially blames herself for Anakin's turn to the dark side and holds some regret for leaving him and the Order behind.
This means that although Anakin and Padmé tried to hide their love throughout Star Wars, several of their closest friends, including Ahsoka, Rex, and Obi-Wan, knew about their relationship but preserved their secret.
In Attack of the Clones, Anakin was still a Padawan to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Although he went on missions and made his own choices, Anakin had much to learn and paid dearly for his youthful ignorance. However, when he was seen again in Revenge of the Sith, Anakin was no longer a Padawan but a full-fledged Jedi Knight.
Nonetheless, as she dies, Padme tells Obi-Wan that there is still good in Anakin. Even something as heinous as that couldn't fully break her love for Anakin.
While the Star Wars canon doesn't explicitly confirm his regret, the intricacies of his relationship with Ahsoka and the remnants of his former identity could have stirred some degree of internal turmoil.
Anakin and Ahsoka arrived to help, and they ran into each other. This was when she finally started having feelings for him. However, he had mostly moved on at that point and was more devoted to avenging his mother than romance with a Jedi.
Ahsoka's departure haunted Yoda for some time afterward; he felt extremely guilty and remorseful, partly for refusing to stand by her and partly for placing her on the path that led to her departure from the Jedi Order. In fact, his guilt was so great that the Dark Side attempted to use it against him, but failed.
The blue blades came as a surprise to audiences and to Ahsoka in Season 7. According to The Clone Wars executive producer Dave Filoni, the change was intended to represent the enduring master/apprentice bond between Anakin and Ahsoka.
Of course, Anakin appears several times without even a mention of Ahsoka, in part because two of the three prequel films occur before the pair meet, and The Clone Wars shows Ahsoka busy with the Siege of Mandalore during the events of Revenge of the Sith.
The late Master's legacy suggests that he may have actually been a Sith working against the Jedi Order all along, successfully orchestrating the downfall of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire.
While Ahsoka and Anakin ended up having a good relationship, it wasn't right for Obi-Wan and the Council to disregard his feelings and force him to take on a Padawan. It created yet another attachment for Anakin that ultimately led to his fall to the dark side.
