Kang's conquest and attempted escape of the Quantum Realm did not go unnoticed by the Time Variance Authority. However, the TVA did not have to intervene since he was successfully defeated by both Ant-Man and Wasp.
While the movie concluded with Kang's defeat, there's a compelling case to be made that the storyline could have taken a more intriguing turn had Kang defeated Ant-Man and escaped the Quantum Realm.
The Avengers assault the base, and Warbird destroys the main core. Kang then forces the Scarlet Centurion to take a capsule to his own time, leaving Kang to die honorably. The Avengers evacuate as the crippled Damocles Base plunges to Earth. The base crash lands in Maryland, causing devastation.
Ant-Man Isn't On Kang's Level (& That's The Point)
The comic book version of Scott Lang would have no chance of beating Kang either. Clearly, though, the MCU using an overpowered villain for Quantumania is all part of the point.

Why did Kang lose to ants?
In his last opportunity to escape, he had a brutal duel against Ant-Man, which resulted in Kang being shrunken and decimated by his own Engine Core, though his death inadvertently alerted the Council of Kangs about people interacting with the Multiverse, prompting them to take their own measures.
Kang ultimately fails to beat Ant-Man in a one-on-one fight, again suggesting the technology of the 21st Century is somehow beyond his understanding. Perhaps the Avengers will have a harder fight when they face off against all the Kangs, but one Kang is maybe not the challenge it was cracked up to be.
Disabling his suit could potentially strip him of his technological powers and weaken him. Ant-Man has already shown the ability to sabotage technologically-advanced suits like he did with Falcon and Iron Man in previous movies. This could be a key advantage in defeating Kang.
Unfortunately, this didn't work, and Ahura ended up killing Kang and assuming his position, leading to an epic and heartbreaking battle between Ahura and the Inhumans.
Even though the 616-universe's variant of Thor might harbor enough power to take on Kang the Conqueror by himself, Hemsworth's comments about potentially retiring the role suggest that Kang would, in fact, overpower the Asgardian.
According to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania screenwriter Jeff Loveness, he describes Kang the Conqueror as a "lonely character" who lives in the Quantum Realm and develops the ability to become a multi-dimensional supervillain in Phase 5 of the MCU.
Marvel Studios did the unexpected and killed off Kang the Conqueror, for now. Fueled by his love for Cassie and the anger from Kang threatening her, Paul Rudd's Scott Lang was able to ensure their mutual defeat.
Kang the Conqueror did not appear in the Loki series. This episode did feature a character named He Who Remains, who is a variant of Kang but still a different character. According to the show's director, Kate Herron, He Who Remains is in the comics, but the version in our show was very different.
Eventually, Captain America defeats Kang before Ravonna uses his time crystal to regress him to an infant. In the post-credits, an elderly Kang joins Ravonna, Cosmo the Spacedog, Man-Thing, and the Supreme Intelligence in warning Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man of a new threat.
By Quantumania's end, Ant-Man and the Wasp stopped Kang from heading into the Earth-616 universe. Instead, Wasp shoots him and pushes him into his multiversal ship's core, which explodes and drags him in.
Galactus would win. Why? Because he is way more powerful than Kang lmao, Kang's only option is to get unimaginably powerful technology that can at least match Galan, somehow make him not be able to feed, or simply get an army or another powerful entity from another time/universe.
Mjølnir: Thor was wielding the magical Uru hammer, which he had lost when he was banished from Asgard. However, before Thor could retrieve the Mjølnir from S.H.I.E.L.D., he was killed by Hawkeye.

Kang isn't physically stronger than Thanos, and if the two were to square up in a one-vs-one fight then the Titan would arguably win. However, Kang's knowledge of the multiverse means that would quite literally be several steps ahead of Thanos at all times. As a result, Kang wins this battle.
He also ensures that some of the technology Kang will need gets invented (Tony's time travel machine). As he gamed this particular fight over and over, maybe more than 15 million times, He Who Remains chose this specific set of events. He caused Heimdall, Loki, Gamora, Black Widow, and Iron Man to die.
Kang is in the Quantum Realm(QR), and only Ant-Man and his family can access the realm. I guess Kang needs a device which can be acquired only when one goes in the deeper refines of the QR, and only Ant-Man can access the QR in ways no one else can (maybe not even the Pym family).

However, Kang teamed up with Janet van Dyne to repair his Time Sphere and Multiversal Engine Core and return to his annihilation of timelines. However, when van Dyne learned of Kang's true intentions, she turned on him and used multiple growth discs on the Core, enlarging it to where Kang couldn't use it.
Kang was a villain that surpassed the rules of time and space and was a conqueror of all worlds thanks to his advanced technology. For Kang, his mission was to visit many points in time and conquer them in hopes of amassing an army built over ages to take over the world.
