Absent a spouse, Talia was considered as an heir to her father and his organization. While Batman is uninterested in the criminal empire, he has often demonstrated romantic feelings for Talia. Talia has saved the life of Batman or helped him on numerous occasions.

Talia took Todd in out of her love for Batman, while her father Ra's al Ghul was interested in the secret behind his resurrection. The League of Assassins tracked and eliminated everyone in Gotham who knew of Todd's resurrection to prevent Batman from finding out.
While conversing with Talia al Ghul, Damian accused her of being a terrible mother for raising her son as a "killing machine". This, coupled with his earlier condemnation of Batman for having multiple Robins, all suggest that Damian is angry with both his parents for the way he was raised.
Overall, Talia though one of the more honorable villains at first, became a monster over time. Not only does she stop caring about Batman and Damian, but her heartless nature becomes apparent when she endangers various lives. This makes her the evilest version of Talia to date.
