"The Devil's Wife" (also known as "Medusa") is a minor character in Hocus Pocus. She is the wife of the man whom the Sanderson Sisters initially assume to be the devil. They also think she's Medusa because of her snake-like hair curlers.
At a point before his death, Billy shared a kiss with Winifred Sanderson. He later become involved with Sarah Sanderson, causing Winifred to poison him. Winifred would later spread a story that Billy was her lover and cheated on her with Sarah, but this was not the case.
Billy's mouth is sewn shut, and his decayed appearance leads Max and the rest to believe he's an enemy just like the Sandersons. However, the end of Hocus Pocus gives Billy some freedom as his mouth is torn open, and he quickly takes the opportunity to yell at Winifred.
The series may reveal that Billy and Daisy actually did have an affair, but that wasn't included in the book, possibly because Billy didn't tell his daughter the truth. It would definitely be one of the more satisfying changes between the book and the series.
