The theatrical ending of Get Out is technically a happy ending, as Chris is able to escape the plotting of the Armitage's with his life. After a vicious chase, he is able to shoot Rose with a rifle which gives him the chance to strangle her, but his conscience stops him from finally killing her.
In the original ending, Chris is arrested by the police after strangling Rose. Instead of rescuing Chris, Rod meets him in jail and asks him for information about the Armitage family to investigate, but Chris insists that he stopped them and everything is fine.
The film's ending serves as a powerful culmination of the narrative's themes and character development. By exposing the insidious motives of the Armitages, the movie confronts viewers with uncomfortable truths about racism and the commodification of black bodies.
There's another alternate ending (although it is unknown if this one actually got filmed or not) that is arguably just as depressing, which finds Rod breaking into the Armitage household to save Chris. However, he is already too late, with Chris already stuck in the Sunken Place.
The scene that this stands out is the when Chris tries to photograph Logan, the only other black person at the party. When the flash goes off in Logan's face his demeanor changes. Physical symptoms manifest which include a nose bleed, fear in his eyes and lunging at Chris saying "Get out".

Why did Rose smile when Chris choked her?
Rose initially panics, but starts smiling evilly, presumably because that her racist beliefs about black people would be right, as Chris would end up acting like a beast.
Like all of Peele's films, Get Out is deeply metaphorical. The Sunken Place serves as a metaphor for the underlying bigotry that exists to this day. Many white liberals view befriending Black men as a commodity (like the ones literally sold by the Order of the Coagula), but without giving them any agency.

Ultimately, Jordan Peele's choice for Get Out allows the film to offer some relief after being incredibly disturbing, which is kinder to Chris and to audiences.
Rod has a friend (friend of a friend) in the FBI or CIA who could track people through the cellphone which Rod used to talk to Chris in previous scenes. Rod did a simple search based on the name Armitage, which seems to be a popular family, and found the address online. Chris even says: I'm at the Armitage's house.
Because Froot Loops are colorful and milk is white, the separation of the two seemingly symbolizes the American Segregation era when people of color were forced to use different public amenities than white people.
Earlier, Missy—a therapist—had offered to hypnotize Chris to cure him of his nicotine cravings. It's clear, both to Chris and to the viewer, that a trap is being sprung.
The scariest scenes in Get Out are the ones that recall shocking realities. Jordan Peele uses cross-cutting masterfully during the auction scene, as he cuts between Chris and Rose saying, “I love you,” for the first time, and the Armitages auctioning off Chris' body.
By the end of the movie, Peele makes it clear through his symbolism that deer and Kaluuya's character Chris are intended to be mirror images of one another, drawing a parallel between black men being prized as trophies just like the taxidermy deer hanging on the wall in the room where Chris was held captive.
Chris is a African-American photographer who has been dating a Caucasian girl named Rose Armitage for the past 5 months, then Rose decides to bring Chris down to her family's estate in the middle of nowhere to meet her parents, Dean and Missy.

As what appear to be police lights appear, Rose feigns pleas for help. She's not just a psychopathic racist; she's also a canny manipulator of the subterranean, systemic racism in the world at large. And this makes her easily the most insidious, terrifying character in the whole film.

Logan is one of the few characters in the film to have escaped with his actions as he still remains in control of Andre's body while the others (such as Roman and Marianne) end up being killed. It is unknown of Logan's true appearance as he was only seen in Andre's body the entire time.
In the beginning the rabbits were locked up in cages, symbolizing the loss of free will and movement. When Adelaide was switched, Red had more control of her body as she was from the surface. Since she had control she was able to free the rabbits from their cages.
Cameras, Get Out suggests somewhat plainly, have the power to reveal. It's no coincidence that photographic evidence later provides Chris with his biggest clues as he tries to uncover the Armitage family's secrets. In many ways, Chris's camera is a mechanical extension of his own eyes.
