Why Palpatine Feared Qui-Gon Jinn More than Master Yoda in Star Wars. Qui-Gon Jinn was more attuned to the Force than any other prequel Jedi, and that's one reason why Emperor Palpatine needed him dead.

Darth Sidious, was in the earliest stages of his plan to take over the galaxy, and he was afraid a certain Jedi might get in his way. Interestingly, however, that Jedi wasn't Yoda or Master Windu, but instead Qui-Gon Jinn.

Why did Qui-Gon Jinn not disappear when he died?
We are led to assume this as in TCW Qui-gon admits his training was incomplete. He could only appear on Mortis, anywhere else he could only be a disembodied voice.
Dooku, AND Anakin, would be less likely to fall to the dark side if Qui-Gon was left alive and Maul's sympathetic past would never be revealed. For the former, Order 66 wouldn't be executed since Dooku wouldn't be the one planning to do that on the clones.
Jinn's former master, Count Dooku, had been considered to attend the funeral but had declined the invitation, claiming he would not be "pleasant company".
What happened to Qui-Gon's lightsaber after he died?
After Jinn was mortally wounded, Obi-Wan Kenobi used it to defeat Darth Maul. The weapon would become the temporary lightsaber of Kenobi until 28 BBY when he constructed a second lightsaber identical to his first one that had been lost in the duel with Maul.

Qui-Gon Jinn, who is considered a maverick Jedi Master by his colleagues, might have been able to keep Anakin on the path of the Jedi, had he not been killed by Darth Maul. Star Wars' Qui-Gon Jinn would have been the ideal mentor for the young Anakin.
The two were able to free Maul after he had been interrogated by the Sith Lord Count Dooku, and together the three rendezvoused with more Death Watch forces on the moon of Zanbar. Maul took command of his forces once again, and assured them that the war they had longed for was at hand.

In addition, he revealed that he thought of the Jedi Council as being at least as responsible for Qui-Gon's death as the Sith who had killed him, and that it was their perceived short-sightedness and obstinacy which had truly lead him to leave the Order.

But Qui-Gon's body remained because I guess he skipped class on that day when the Priestesses were teaching him. While he did still become one with the Force, he didn't do it to the same extent as the others. It's called a rice ghost. We have force ghost thanks to Qui-Gon.
An enraged Dooku began Force-choking Dagonet with the intent to kill him, but Qui-Gon released Dagonet's son and managed to defuse the situation without any further violence. In the aftermath, Dooku commended Qui-Gon's actions and praised him as a wiser man than him.
Through burning the Jedi after death, the possibility of the Force living on as an echo through the dead body is removed, meaning the Jedi in question are fully at peace.
The reason why Qui-Gon Jinn is the most powerful Jedi in the galaxy is because he had seen everything that would unfold throughout the Skywalker Saga in a vision of the future, sacrificing himself to ensure the fulfilling of the Chosen One prophecy.
