The adult T'Pring was played by Arlene Martel in Star Trek: The Original Series and Gia Sandhu in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: very Short Treks. Although no reference work notes the name of the girl depicted as the young T'Pring, she was played by Mary Rice.
However, after the destruction of Vulcan, we see Uhura comfort Spock in the elevator, confirming that they are actually in a relationship. Later, through the film, though she never stands up for him during a conflict she is shown to go after him several times when he is in emotional turmoil.

When Spock aged into adolescence, he underwent Pon Farr, the painful Vulcan mating ritual. Understanding what this meant, Saavik has sexual intercourse with the young Spock to alleviate his suffering — and originally, this resulted in Spock getting Saavik pregnant.
Sarek was married twice, and had two sons. Prior to his first marriage, he had a relationship with a Vulcan princess which produced Sarek's first son Sybok, a character not developed until the fifth feature film in the late 1980s. Sarek later married Amanda Grayson, a native of the planet Earth, with whom he had Spock.
The intersectionality of Uhura as a Black woman was considered important when discussing her romance with Spock, because romances between Black women and white men are largely portrayed as cautionary tales in Hollywood films.
During The Search for Spock, Saavik (Robin Curtis) mated with Spock to keep him from dying during the Pon Farr he experienced while rapidly aging on the Genesis Planet. The film only implied that the two had been intimate, but there were plans for Saavik to be pregnant with Spock's baby in subsequent movies.
At one point during negotiations, the idea was brought up of having Spock kiss Uhura instead (as Spock was half Vulcan), but William Shatner insisted that they stick with the original script. Tragically, the heroic Vulcan succumbed to radiation poisoning. Spock was 55 years old when he died in Star Trek II, which is relatively young considering Vulcans can live up to 200 years old. Spock's father Sarek (Mark Lenard), for example, was 203 when he died in 2368 during Star Trek: The Next Generation season 5.
Spock is reunited with Leila Kalomi (Jill Ireland) in "This Side of Paradise"; after joining an away team to the planet Omicron Ceti III. After being affected by planet spores, Spock begins showing emotion and re-initiates his romantic liaison with Kalomi.

The beloved Vulcan's full name is officially S'Chn T'Gai Spock. The name actually comes from a popular fan work-turned novel for The Original Series in Barbara Hambly's Ishmael which was published in 1985.
Certainly, pairing the young and attractive Vulcan and Communications Officer looked good on-screen, but Star Trek fans took issue with it, and Spock being lovers with Uhura never quite clicked as intended. In Star Trek Beyond, Uhura and Spock broke up as a course correction.
By 2263, Uhura and Spock experienced a time-out in their relationship as a consequence of Spock's increasing beliefs that he ought to be helping his people rebuild on New Vulcan, and thus leave Starflee.
