Some weeks after the Blip, in Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor uses Stormbreaker to decapitate Thanos in the Garden, though as the Infinity Stones had been destroyed, the Blip cannot be undone. Five years later, Thor has become severely depressed.
Mjolnir AKA Johnathon was destroyed at the beginning of Ragnarok by Thor and Loki's (Tom Hiddleston) long lost sister Hela (Cate Blanchett). Thor would then replace his hammer with Stormbreaker, which he received in Avengers: Infinity War (2018). But Mjolnir returned during the Time Heist in Endgame.
Many viewers have pointed out that Thanos was able to lift Stormbreaker without a problem, but this is because the ax isn't enchanted as Mjolnir is. Others believe Thanos lifted Mjolnir (although briefly) and have even argued that he would be worthy of doing so.
Instead of going directly for Thanos' head, he let his emotions get the best of him, allowing the Mad Titan time to execute the snap. He also failed to recruit the Eternals in the fight, despite already knowing of their existence at that point.

Why did Thor seem weak in Endgame?
In Endgame, Thor had been spending the last five years in a drunken haze, sitting in his cottage, and only touching Stormbreaker to open up alcohol. He is very out of shape, out of practice, probably having some withdrawal symptoms from stopping alcohol, probably a bit dehydrated.
Having wielded the star-forged weapon for countless centuries, Thor and Mjolnir have quite the singular bond, despite the various trials and tribulations they've been through. And that bond is ultimately what proves that the Mighty Thor has surpassed his father, Odin.
Thanos gains hold of Stormbreaker and uses it to nearly kill Thor, though Rogers proves worthy to wield Mjolnir, and uses it to save Thor, and is able to conjure lightning in tandem with his shield. Rogers uses Mjolnir and Thor uses Stormbreaker in the final battle against Thanos, the Children of Thanos, and his army.
Although Stormbreaker and Mjolnir have very similar properties and powers, Stormbreaker is the most powerful weapon wielded by Thor so far. The obvious reasons are that Stormbreaker is the physically larger weapon out of the two, and not to mention that it is an axe, which could well be more dangerous than a hammer.

Mjolnir was his first weapon and he was very attached to it. After all, Thor had the hammer longer than Stormbreaker. Korg: Sounds like you had a pretty special and intimate relationship with this hammer, and you losing it was almost comparable to losing a loved one.
Who would win in an MCU fight: Odin or Thanos? Without the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos stands little chance against Prime Odin. Odin is stated to be able to shatter the Earth.
He was able to lift Stormbreaker because Stormbreaker is purely about strength. In Infinity War, when Thor was asked by the Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Quill: Don't you think that we should all have a weapon like that?
How Can Captain America Lift Thor's Hammer? Simple: Steve Rogers is worthy. The inscription on Mjolnir reads “Whosoever holds this hammer, if they be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.” It doesn't matter how strong you are, if you aren't worthy, you can't lift Thor's hammer, no matter how hard you try.
In order to achieve Thor's larger stomach, the 35-year-old actor wore a heavy prosthetic suit. "Physically, it was a good three hours in hair and makeup," Hemsworth said. "Then the prosthetic suit, particularly for the shirt-off scene, that was a big silicone that weighed about 90 pounds.
However, the film also implies that the hammer only sees Jane as worthy because Thor unintentionally revised the rules of Mjölnir, giving it the power to protect her. Captain America didn't need anything special for the hammer to see him as worthy – he's able to wield it without issue in Avengers: Endgame.
Storm breaker is meant to be the strongest weapon of Asgard and could even summon bifrost, says Eitri. But there is no enchantment or spell on it like it was on Mjolnir. So one doesn't have to be worthy to weild it, just the strength to lift it. Clearly Thanos is capable of lifting it.
In a compromise, as Bill fairly won the battle, Odin had the Dwarves of Nidavellir create a new hammer made for the cyborg Korbonite warrior, crafted from the same Uru metal as Mjolnir. With the assistance of Eitri and other dwarf blacksmiths, they forged Stormbreaker.
The movie doesn't explain Thor's motivations for giving up Stormbreaker, but it makes sense that Chris Hemsworth simply wanted Love to have a powerful weapon to aid her in battle. It's unlikely that he could give her Mjolnir, considering that so few people in the MCU have been deemed worthy of its power.
As Thor described in Infinity War, Stormbreaker was a “Thanos-killing” weapon. Like Mjolnir, Stormbreaker is one of the most powerful weapons in the universe, and both Uru hammers nearly deal killing blows to Thanos in both Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
So while Zeus' best feat is defeating a mountain-sized monster, Odin's best feat is defeating a monster as big as nine worlds. Odin outclasses Zeus in intelligence, versatility, strength, and weapons. Zeus simply can't compete. The winner is Odin, All-Father of the Æsir.
Now Odin did tell Thor he was stronger then him (Odin) which some interpret as Odin meaning Thor is stronger than Odin cause Thor now has his fathers power plus his own. But we have to remember two things. Odin himself said Mjølnir only channeled Thor's power, Thor just needed to learn to use it naturally.
