Steve Rogers/Captain America Steve is Tony's ally, teammate, friend and occasional rival in the Avengers. As for their social relationship, they might as well be considered as "frenemies" due to their personality clashes. However, despite their differences, they truly care for and respect each other.
Their friendship could only last so long, though, with much of Phase Three having the pair opposed to one another.
