If you find yourself visiting on another day with your lightsaber in tow and would like to store it for part of the day, there is a secret location which has storage just large enough for a deconstructed lightsaber. The First Order will never be able to locate it, so it is safe and sound.
While it never hurts to ask a Cast Member in Galaxy's Edge and at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, your best bet is to check with your airline to determine if you can carry it on or check it with your luggage. You can also look for a FedEx or UPS location near the resort to ship it back home yourself.

Another option is storing it in an extra-large locker. These jumbo lockers are located just outside the main entrance to Disneyland Park. Yes, the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers will accept credits stored on Disney Gift Cards from our home planet. In fact, my son happened to use a Disney Gift Card when he visited Batuu recently to learn the mysterious craft of building a lightsaber under the tutelage of the Gatherers.
There's always the possibility of new colors being added, but as it stands in the official lore, the only colors possible (and what they represent) are the following: Blue - loyalty, stability, truth, justice. Green - growth, safety, harmony. Red - power, anger, hatred. Purple - nobility and wisdom.
If you want to ship your lightsaber home, you can have it shipped from Disney World to your house. You have a few options to do this. If you are in Galaxy's Edge you can head over to the Droid Depot to have them ship it for you. You can head over to Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities to have it shipped.
There are four choices: blue, green, purple, and red. As the Jedi Order likes to say, the crystal chooses you and not the other way around. Prophecy aside, you can purchase additional Kyber crystals for $12.99 each at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, which is next door.

Hidden inside Savi's Workshop, Savi and his Gatherers helped visitors construct lightsabers. In 34 ABY, Savi and the Gatherers operated a workshop in a hidden back room where they helped visitors create their own custom lightsabers.
The entire experience inside Savi's Workshop takes around 20 minutes. If you include check-in and reviewing the hilt styles, it's closer to 30 - 40 minutes total.
