Disney On Ice comes several times a year and they're all about Disney; however, each show covers different Disney movies and Disney characters. For example, Follow Your Heart's main presentations were from the movie Inside Out, Finding Dory and Frozen.
This is one of my favorite aspects of Disney on Ice. You won't be seeing the same show year after year because the show and theme changes. This means that the characters involved in the show change as well.
In just one tour, a Disney On Ice performer will travel an average 13,860 miles. That's the equivalent of driving between Disney World and Disneyland nearly 6 times! And during the average career of a Disney On Ice skater, on average, a professional skater will travel over 280,000 miles!
What age is Disney On Ice aimed at? Disney On Ice is a family event suitable for all ages! Although toddlers may not understand the concept of the show, the colours and characters can be healthy for development and the songs and characters will entertain them throughout the show.
Aimed primarily at children, the shows feature figure skaters portraying the roles of Disney characters in performances derived from various Disney films.
After seeing so many shows it takes a lot to wow me but the Disney on Ice presents 100 Years of Wonder did just that. It seems fitting that this celebration of a milestone is the best Disney on Ice yet.
All the stories were re-enacted by professional ice skaters, who twirled, jumped, and even took spills with precise expertise. The characters lip-synced to some of the best-known songs from each Disney film as they danced to the same tunes.

How long is the show? Disney On Ice productions vary in length, but they average between one hour and a half to two hours. This includes a 15-20 minute intermission. Does Disney On Ice features any special effects during the show?
Can I bring snacks to the show? Snacks and drinks are on offer at the venue for purchase, and can be enjoyed during the show. However no snacks and drinks purchased outside of the venue will be allowed into the show.
Children under two can attend for free, as long as they sit on a parent's lap. Anyone older than two must purchase a ticket. My kids were 2 and 4, and both had a blast. We were surrounded by kids of all ages, and Disney On Ice does an amazing job of making the show fun and accessible for the whole family.
Is Disney on Ice Worth It? For those that can't get enough Disney stuff, watching the Disney on Ice show when it comes to your hometown is absolutely worth it! My kids and I have loved watching prior Disney on Ice productions. And Let's Celebrate was no exception, it was fantastic.
Disney On Ice is suitable for all ages, although we recommend ages two and up. All guests under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of two can attend the show without a ticket if they sit on a parent or guardian's lap throughout the performance.
The biggest perk of a child-centric show! There is no wait—we repeat, no wait—for alcohol. Does that offset the fact that drinks are about $10 a pop? Depends on how much you dislike Disney music, we suppose.

What characters will be at Disney On Ice lets celebrate?

Audiences will be a part of the magic of Disney as Mouse-ter of Ceremonies, Mickey Mouse, leads a parade of more than 50 beloved characters starring Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy, and featuring an ensemble of Disney Princesses including Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Snow White and Tiana.
Irvin Feld and Kenneth Feld become the first father-son producers of The Greatest Show On Earth. Kenneth Feld creates Walt Disney's World on Ice. Feld Entertainment acquires the license to produce and present Disney-themed ice shows. The name is changed to Disney On Ice in 1998.
Disney on Ice is a magical show for young kids and adults of all ages to enjoy. It's truly a show for the entire family! Both of my daughters (at almost 2 and 4) enjoyed the show and seeing their favorite characters.
It completely depends on the child, how long can they sit still, whats their attention span like etc... My sister took her 3 year old at christmas and he sat and watched both halves, he loved every minute of it. Its definately worth paying for closer seats.
