Act 1; Scene 15: (Kiss Me (Part II)) Johanna and Anthony kiss and later sink to the floor together. They kiss several more times in the show. Act 2: Scene 21: (By The Sea (Part 1)) Mrs. Lovett kisses Sweeney Todd throughout this song and twice more during the scene following the second part of the song.
Outside of her house, Anthony Hope, a young sailor, hears her song and falls in love with her, vowing to save her from Turpin. Johanna sees him, she opens the window and she throws her door's key to him. The two make a plan to run away from the cruel judge. After this, to her horror, Turpin asks Johanna to marry him.
In the final scene, Johanna, Anthony and two policemen encounter Toby in the bakehouse, mindlessly turning the meat grinder, surrounded by the corpses of Todd, Lucy, Mrs. Lovett, and Turpin. Presumably she elopes with Anthony after the events of the show.
In every version of the story in which she appears, Mrs. Lovett is the business partner and accomplice of barber/serial killer Sweeney Todd; in some versions, she is also his lover. She makes and sells meat pies made from Todd's victims.
Also, more tragically, while she knows Johanna's name, she does not remember the girl as her daughter. Lucy is also seen wandering around Sweeney's barbershop, her old home, which is a weak insinuation that she does have a bit of memory regarding her past.

Why did Sweeney Todd's wife go crazy?
Lucy Barker is a fictional character that appears in some versions of the story Sweeney Todd. Lucy is the wife of barber Benjamin Barker, who is unjustly imprisoned by Judge Turpin, who wants Lucy for himself. After Turpin sexually abuses her, Lucy attempts suicide with poison, but survives and goes insane.
The beggar woman turns out to be none other than Lucy Barker, Todd's long-lost wife. Mrs. Lovett confesses that it has been her love for Sweeney Todd, and her hopes that they would become lovers, that kept her from telling him Lucy was still alive.
After three seemingly catastrophic confrontations with the razor-wielding barber (one in each act), Mark Ingestrie reappears alive and well in the final scene of the play. Right is restored, Sweeney Todd is disposed of and the lovers are reunited. A happy ending for all. Bond makes his hero more complex.
Mrs. Lovett is a secondary character, an unfortunate neighbor and reluctant accomplice whom the barber intimidates into helping him. She is greedy, no doubt - she expects half of all the profits from their evil trade - but she is no mastermind.

The Sweeney Todd story, as we know it today, was a fiction that appeared between November 1846 and March 1847 in Edward Lloyd's (1815-1890) The People's Periodical and Family Library as an eighteen part serial entitled The String of Pearls: A Romance.
Lovett had misled him into believing had died. After learning the truth, he kills Mrs. Lovett, but is in turn killed by Mrs. Lovett's assistant and surrogate son Tobias Ragg, who slits Todd's throat with his own razor.
Answer and Explanation: Johanna survives in Mockingjay. She is rescued from the Capitol along with Peeta and brought back to District 13. While Peeta is able to push past his trauma in order to help Katniss, Johanna is deemed too unstable to send with Katniss' team.
Johanna Mason of District 7 was the victor of the 71st Hunger Games. Four years later, she became a tribute in the third Quarter Quell, and she was a prisoner of war in the Second Rebellion. She was the last living victor from District 7 at the end of the trilogy.
However, in the film version, Toby does not appear to be caught or to have gone insane. It is implied that he ultimately escapes, but we don't know whether he escaped with Anthony and Joanna or escaped on his own.

Beggar Woman/Lucy Barker: A mad crone whose interjections go unheeded, she is eventually identified as Benjamin Barker's wife, Lucy, who was raped by Judge Turpin.
Lovett seems to say that the two have been physical with one another when she's dreaming up their life: “Me rumpled bedding, legitimized,” she says, insinuating that the two have slept together.
Lovett locked up Toby in the basement where she cooks the bodies and he escaped through the sewers. When Todd finally killed Turpin, along with Beadle Bamford and a beggar woman, Turpin was alive for a few seconds and grabbed Lovett's dress, causing her to scream just as Turpin bleeds to death.
Sweeney Todd tells the story of a man driven mad after having the woman he loved stolen from him and getting accused for a crime he didn't commit. Upon release from prison, he plans to exact revenge on the man who caused his current lot in life, aided by the maniacal Mrs. Lovett.
Sondheim was drawn to the tale's representation of obsession. Sweeney, monomaniacally pursuing his desire for perfect narrative closure—either reunion with his family or revenge against the judge—becomes blind to everything else and ends thwarted, confused, and denied any closure but death.
Sweeney Todd was finally caught when the smell from the decomposing remains left under the St. Dunstan church got so bad that parishioners could no longer stand it and an investigation was conducted. Todd was eventually caught, tried and hung for the murders.
What did Mrs. Lovett keep that she gives back to Sweeney?
Demanding to learn the fate of his family, Barker hears that his wife, Lucy, took arsenic, and that Judge Turpin adopted his daughter. Todd swears to take revenge on the Judge and the Beadle. Mrs. Lovett brings him his razors, which she has kept hidden away for all of these years.
Sweeney Todd's final scene shows Johnny Depp's bloodthirsty barber holding Lucy's body, as Toby creeps up behind him. It's hinted that Todd is aware of his presence, raising his neck to make the murder easier for the boy.
